Well,actually if you played Crystal,Heart Gold and Soul Silver,Suicune will never run even if you used Mean Look.

 

But yeah,I totally know how you feel since I also HATE roaming Legendaries and I can't describe how I feel when I catch one or faint it out of anger

Damn! But I still don't understand, is there a particular strategy to be able to find them or does it entirely depends on luck that if they are going to move to a different place as soon as you get there?

In HGSS (not sure about GSC), the RNG actually trolls you; if you go back in forth the same routes, it will repeat it's patern and eventually either stay in place, or warp some place miles way from you. Although switching from town to route (vise versa) sometimes won't change it's position.

Hate them!! Also using fly always fails. Everytime you use fly to get to them they move out. Fuuuu

I hate catching that damn thing.

I never experienced Suicune escaping since I never got that far into Gold/Silver, cuz I got Crystal version and started playing that instead.

Either way I can sympathize because of the roaming legends.

Well Suicune is just an example out of 3 legendaries and yes as you said in Crystal version at least we get the chance to catch it easily but if you take the other 2 legendaries then there's always problems. I love Pokemon games but this system of catching legendaries is just annoying!

Actually in Heart Gold Soul Silver you don't even need to catch Entei and Raikou in order to get Suicune.You just have to find it in specific locations until you fight him in Cerulean City

Yeah I never actually managed to catch Raikou on my original Crystal version.Haven't taken the time to do it on Soul Silver either...
