that Goofy's son will appear in KH3?

Featured Replies

No.

Max may appear in the next saga though

No, because nobody has fathers in KH.

No.

Because ignoring him means he doesn't exist in the KH universe, and Goofy would seem like a horrible parent going off for so long on adventures leaving him.  Also in the goofy movie, goofy was like an office worker or something with a normal teenage son, in KH he's the captain of the guards, so max couldn't be a ordinary teenager, he'd have grown up in the castle and be raised to a royal degree....

Personally I don't even want to see him.  I don't think he'll bring anything to the story.  And he'll just remind us his mom's dead.

Yes please, max could be a summon at least and do weird dances.

Only if there is a 'House of Mouse' based world.

you mean Goof Troop? xD

I recall a scene in BBS that identified Sora's father and KH1 told us about Sora's Mom...

The chances of Max appearing are slim.  I'd like for him to appear in Kingdom Hearts 3, but I would prefer if he appeared in the next saga.  I've wanted Max to appear for some time now.  His attitude and spunk would fit in well with Goofy's humorous ways, and we'd see a lovable father-son banter between them.  A guy can dream right? :)

Goof Troop was so awesome. ;)

Max was also in 'House of Mouse' with Goofy teaching him how to be a waiter.

What if Max was on a training journey?

What if Max was on a training journey?

I literally can't imagine him doing anything useful.  If I try to think of him as a knight or anything I see him as a completely different character from his movie.  If Nomura wanted he could be used in a future installment, I just don't want him.  I think there's an array of other characters that would be better additions to the cast and story.

KH3 should work with the characters introduced in the 5+ games it took to get this far.  I won't write Max's inclusion off as something that won't bring anything to the plate, though.  I'd actually be interested to see how they work him in.  At least in the Goof Troop movies, Max is a character asserting his independence, especially from his father.  He might not even be involved with the royal guards--even if it's a reasonable assumption, why should he be among the corps just because he's Goofy's son?  And even if he is, Max might want to try to do things his own way.  The royal lifestyle might not appeal to him, so part of his adventure could be going off, exploring the worlds and helping out, dimly aware it's just what his father is doing... but it's also what Sora's doing, so if they met up, who knows what it could lead to?

Maybe in the next saga if it takes place in the future and is centered around Sora's son or something.

Nope.
