''Who will I have ice cream with.'' Oh, that ambiguous sentence Roxas said. Well, for me it's clear. I didn't even laugh while playing the game. Roxas is a Nobody. Nobodies can't feel and don't have emotions. So, at first Roxas didn't know what friendship meant and the only thing he did with Axel and Xion was eating ice cream. So, Roxas thought that friendship is just eating ice cream with friends. Trust me, it's the saddest part of the cutscene.

Known this for a while.... still feel a bit indifferent towards her death though....

I think it was actually pretty clever of SE to use that line. I think it had more feel than saying "Who else will be friend now?"

I think it depends on how you feel about the characters. I stopping liking Roxas when I play days and I never really cared about Xion. So, I just laughed at the line and thought it was silly. But if you like the characters or feel for them. I could see why you would feel something for the line.

To start. No. Nobodies have feelings and emotions, overall a heart.

It was a bad translation

The line means "who will I cry with"

Kinda adding to Demyx's "we do too have hearts"

Replace "eat ice cream" with "share the sunset" and instant feels right there...

I didn't laugh because I understood the intent, but it was still a little cheesy.  Also, I don't think you can use the "Nobodies don't have hearts" reasoning because Roxas has pretty much developed his own heart by that point.  He can still be naive about things, though, I'll admit.  Considering ice cream was their ritual, it's a ritual he's learned to associate with friendship.  It only seems to carry weight when I'm not actually watching the scene in question, for reasons I'm not quite certain of myself.

What a coincidence, I thought the same.

How can you laugh when you know who's getting killed off?
