Hei 3,233 Posted July 11, 2012 (edited) Thinking about buying one or the other for the Gamecube. Don't know why I didn't buy these before Anyways, which one do you think is better? Or should I just save up and get both? Had no idea people liked Wind Waker so much lol Edited July 11, 2012 by HeiTheFlamingRamen
Namikaze 654 Posted July 11, 2012 Windwaker. TP is better,in my opinion on the wii

WakelessDream 2,286 Posted July 11, 2012 (edited) Windwaker was really fun for me and so was TP but I say windwaker, it really plunged me back into the zelda series when I bought my gamecube Wait on second thought I say get both, besides gamecube games aren't very expensive these days right? Akihiko 1,628 Posted July 11, 2012 BOTH Wind Waker. 1 Hei reacted to this

Yeah, I think I'll get both. Twilight Princess is the more darker, realistic Zelda. While Wind Waker is the more cartoony, fun Zelda. And I think they are pretty cheap, though both Zelda games are more expensive than a lot of GC games. About $30 for each.
islandboy461 47 Posted July 11, 2012 In retrospect, Twilight Princess is one of my least favourite Zelda games, though I did enjoy it the first time I played it. Wind Waker, on the other hand, is one of my favourites. After Skyward Sword and A Link to the Past that is.
Xalaru 445 Posted July 11, 2012 (edited) Wow, I'm surprised at the amount of people saying Wind Waker, but in fairness I've only ever played about 5 minutes of it because I don't own it myself. But, honestly, TP is probably my favourite LoZ game besides OoT3D. Skyward Sword would be third. But yeah, although TP probably is better on the Wii (which is what I have it on), if it's just a choice between TP/WW I'd go for TP. If you can, just get both. hatok 6,413 Posted July 11, 2012 Wind Waker is one of the, if not THE enjoyable Zeldas out there. Twilight Princess is by no means terrible, but it pales in comparison to Wind Waker.
Dave 5,715 Posted July 11, 2012 Wind Waker. People might get on its case because of the graphics, but it has to be one of the most fun Zelda titles. The game makes you want to explore the world, rather than just book it across Hyrule field, and that's something special. 1 Hei reacted to this
Keyblade Master Xine 196 Posted July 11, 2012 Twilight Princess is the only LoZ game I've played, and I loved it, and if this is considered to be the least best one, then I got into this series too late.

Yeah, Twilight Princess is still a great game, yet one of the worst in the series. Tells you something about the series, doesn't it?
rikufan25 170 Posted July 11, 2012 If you were to get TP on the wii, I would say TP, but since you're using a gamecube, go for Wind Waker. The graphics are really beautiful.

Why exactly would you say that...? I mean, there's barely a difference between the Gamecube and Wii versions in the first place...

I mean that the controls are much more better on the wii than on the gamecube, that's just my opinion. You might get a better experience on the wii than on the gamecube. Well, I've only played the Gamecube version extensively, but I found that while aiming was vastly improved, slashing your sword tended to be finicky. And that really doesn't say much in comparison to Wind Waker... If you have a gamecube but not a wii, I suggest that you get ww over tp. If you have a wii it's better to get tp on the wii than on the gamecube. You can play Wind Waker on the Wii, so if you're recommending getting TP for the Wii, it implies you're suggesting getting it over Wind Waker.
