Seriously,almost every mascot legendary and even non-legendary pokemon got their own movie.But there is still no movie for Ho-oh???

 

Ho-oh played a significant rule in Johto's mythology more than Lugia did,yet Lugia got his own movie but Ho-oh didn't.

 

Ho-oh is one of the most mysterious legendary Pokemon in the franchise yet little to no attention is payed to it.

Oh yeah....

actually its the opposite. ho oh had an extreme amount of attention going towards it during the johto tv series. lugia on the other hand even though its ho oh's equal, they didnt put much info on it. so thats why they did a movie and made him look bad ass. ho oh was constantly being referenced and shown in the tv series, but not lugia( compared to other mascots.) thats why. im my opinion, the franchise gave waaaay to much attention to it.

Simple. Because Ho-Oh's firetrucking mainstream.

 

But really though, since it got around 60% of most attention in the TV series/anime I guess they didnt bother to make a movie for this badass. Aside that it was shown in a few frames of movies like Lucario and the Mystery of Mew so...

Not to mention a Raikou movie.

I've seen it but still i don't count it among the movies of the franchise and still hope for a movie with Raikou in it.

I could have sworn I remember Serebii posting a pic on Ho-oh and Lugia fighting each other do something like a teaser, but it never happened. (I think it was after Arceus movie)

I think you refer to the opening of the Dialga Vs Palkia:The Rise of Darkrai movie.The opening had the star Pokemon of every movie before that one,including Lugia and a very short appearance for Ho-oh

But I think it won't made sense for Ho-oh and Lugia to clash in Sinnoh instead of their home region they're in charge of:Johto.They still could've made the movie at the time since HeartGoldSoulSilver was ALSO released in 2010 so the release of the movie could've promoted them,but I guess they scrapped the idea since the release of Black and White in Japan at the time was close and they needed a movie to promote it and choosed Zororak,who turned out to be one of N's Pokemon later.

True, but then we have Mewtwo coming from Kanto going to Unova. (Sure Mewbuu has a purpose to go there since it sensed Genesect?) I do hope they didn't scrap this idea and do keep it in Johto however.

Well,at least the games has some logic unlike the anime,as for Ash,I read in Bulbapedia that he's 13 now but I still think he's 10

But Ash was never aware of Ho-oh's departure to neither Hoenn nor Sinnoh,same goes for Ho-oh.Why Ho-oh would guide Ash of all trainers in the Pokemon world??? If there is someone Ho-oh is supposed to guide.I want it to be either Gold(from the Raikou Legend of Thunder OVA) or N

Well, there was the 3 episode arc with Lugia and its baby in the series too so Lugia did get a tiny bit more than Ho-Oh did.. The same could be said about Raikou though. Entei featured in Pokemon 3 and Suicune had its arc in the series too. But no love for Raikou.

Raikou had an entire OVA for him called (Raikou The Legend of Thunder) included in the Pokemon Chronicles lost episode.Again if you wanna watch it,watch a Japanese dub with subtitles.The English voice acting is terrible beyond belief

 

The best thing about the Raikou OVA is that it doesn't star Ash,it stars Gold(from Pokemon Gold and Silver) but his name in the OVA is Kenta(Jimmy in the stupid English dub)
