Smash Ballot entries don't end until October 3rd. So you'll not hear much on it until then.

Okie doke guys, my Wii U is finally Ret-2-Go for Smash Bros. Unfortunately, the GamePad was wrecked within a week of getting it (thank my lil' bro for that), so I couldn't configure Wifi or get that stupid parental controls (he set) off. 

 

So I'll be posting this on the NNID topic, but since this one is more active, I decided to go here:

Already have $5 on my eShop account in preparation for Lucas. It's great to see he's coming back.

Nice. I just went to my local Walmart store and got a $10.00 Nintnedo eShop card to purchase Lucas for both my 3DS and Wii U version of Smash bros.

 

 

Also An update on 14th June brings new content to Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS, including Lucas from Mother 3 as a playable character, a new Wii U Miiverse stage and Mii Fighter costumes inspired by Splatoon.

To celebrate this update, Masahiro Sakurai will host a special video presentation at 15:40 BST, 7:40 am PT, on 14th June that outlines the details.

To tune in and see what the presentation holds in store, check out Twitch or Nintendo of Europe’s E3 2015 website, where the broadcast will be streamed.

Today I learned the stupid fun that is Bowser. Very satisfying to land kills with him, and Bowsercide is super fun even if infuriating and not actually all that helpful to me.

 

I only wish I was actually good at this game so I didn't have to resort to cheap tactics to win (and even then, I still lose a lot). X_X

I hate Bowserside. it is the most cheap and dumbest attack anyone can use and I wish that it was nerfed to the point where it can't be used. Also DragonMaster, are you going to buy and download Lucas for Smash bros Wii U/3DS?

I joined the Bowsercide palooza yesterday when I saw someone constantly using it with Ganoncide online for Glory. I kinda stopped giving a shit since I kept getting 2nd-3rd.Ironically if I tried winning with Bowser and (later on) Ganondorf, I'd usually get 1st, mostly with the latter. Ganondorf is so cheap in 4 play matches.

Yeah, Bowsercide is certainly cheap, I wouldn't try to use it online. Against my brother, however, is a whole other, hilarious story. (Note: My brother loves to use Ganoncide.)

 

As to the Lucas DLC, I'm not sure. I haven't even gotten Mewtwo yet. I think I'm going to eventually buy the 3DS version, so I kinda wanna do the package deal thing. But also, I'm really not a fan of Lucas (or Ness for that matter) so I don't feel compelled to purchase him. But if my brother wants him, I suppose I'll purchase Lucas for him.

Any edgeguarding attempt (which could kill Ganon if it hits) is useless unless timed correctly. And Noob Ganons always win with it.... TnT

Oh, off-topic, but related to that Shulk amiibo conversation from before. I heard he's getting a restock in Japan in July, and I usually see Japanese restocks go for ~$20-$25 on Playasia. I'll be keeping an eye out for Japanese restocks anyway since DeDeDe will be supposedly restocked along with Shulk, so I could let you know if/when he goes up on Playasia. I can't promise I'll be able to tell you the instant he goes up, though.

Yeah, I've managed to vary my Ness moveset quite a bit since I started using him. I mean, PK Fire + Back Throw is good and all, but there are plenty of other good ways to get KOs with him. The classic bat's still what feels the best, aside from maybe the PK Thunder Rocket.

 

Alright, I'll let you know if/when restocks go up for sale. Hopefully these restocks weren't just rumors, because there are a ton of them that I want, too. Tbh 4 vs 4 way to win is usually being cheap. From spams that work to barley getting involved in the fight unless someone comes to you. It would explain why I can't do jack shit with my mains like Lucina. (Besides being meh in 1 vs 1, she's terrible at 4 vs 4.)

 

Then there's kill feeders. I don't just mean intentional ones who do it on purpose, it's also the ones who just suck that it's anyone's game besides the kill feeder.

Yeah, it was shown in the 50 Fact Direct. We have no news on it, though. It was supposedly going to include a feature to host online tournaments.

Favorite ness combo: PK Fire > Dthrow > Uair

The Uair is an extremely satisfying ko move.

Agreed, i would love to fight you again, as well as Shulk (has a great Ness!) and Metal Snake (he had a reaaaaally good Bowser, gave my Shulk trouble too)

It is. TBH, i like Ness, only reason i don't use him is that i honestly feel a bit cheap using him with how spammy PK Fire can be, his OP B-throw and really strong N-air and U-air. I use him sometimes, but only if i'm fighting an annoying top tier character like Sheik or Pikachu (as in a good Pikachu i mean, whose hard to hit otherwise due to height).

 

Also, i can confirm for Shulk, he doesn't go for the cheap kills, and he's got alot of combo variety. I need to fight him again sometime.

Ness is technically a secret character of mine. I rarely use him, but when I do, nobody has a fun time with me. They usually complain about how op he is since my go to KOs are Uair and PK Thunder Rocket (which is especially fun to land when you stun your opponent with the tail before striking yourself).

I got a lot better at Shulk. Got the hang of MALLC too!
