Well, that just adds to my Chorus Men idea.

Probably someone I don't give a firetruck about. I just want to see veterans confirmed at this point.

Pretty much. Sakurai only has reveal videos for Newcomers and used his Direct to announce a lot of Veterans.

I'm surprised we haven't seen Ness, Captain Falcon, or Jigglypuff yet, since they've been series mains since the beginning. If anything I just hope none of the veteran fighters have to be unlocked, because that was the most annoying part of the starting Brawl roster.

 

As for the Monday reveal I'm thinking either Chorus Kids, Shulk, Isaac, or....Ridley. Though considering that Wii Fit Trainer is a fighter I'm expecting pretty much anything.

Everyone's losing their shit right now just because the Xenoblade director retweeted the post about the new character reveal. I honestly find that a bit lackluster, but if we've got hints toward Shulk and Chorus Men, I'm taking it we'll see Chrom.  Or the 3 minute video will reveal all three of them in a similar fashion the Greninja reveal did.

The thing is, the Gematsu leak was FULL of insanely obvious choices... Shulk, Chorus Boys, and Wii Fit Trainer are the only ones I could see not being obvious... I wasn't going to go crazy out of it because it got one lucky guess...

What I want, is a Raichu skin for Pikachu. Orange Pikachu with yellow cheeks and just a pretty much palette swap like almost all the skins.  They don't have to add the white belly. The Orange and Yellow, with black on the brown and the end of the tail also being orange is enough.

Shulk wasn't a crazy choice, Nintendo is publishing Xenoblade Chronicles X and Shulk was even in the first trailer.

Not to mention that Shulk's first party since Nintendo completely owns Monolith Soft.

SHULK FOR SMASH BROS!!!! I CAN'T EVEN TELL YOU HOW AWESOME I THINK THAT IS!!!! PLEEEEEAAAAASE, NINTENDO!!!! His final smash would probably Monado Buster. If the new character isn't Shulk (WHY NOT!?!?) then i at least hope that Mewtwo will make a return.

Well, usually Ness, CF and Jigglypuff are unlockables when it comes to the original 12. That probably means they'll be unlockable if they haven't been announced by now. :

This...is apparently something from Rhythm Heaven (Where Chorus Men are from, if you for some-whatever reason didn't know from the several sources that pointed that out) called Sneaky Spirit.

It is looking like the Gematsu leak is correct. The LEAST obvious character(s) is (are?) the Chorus Men out of them and Shulk right now, but it's looking like Gematsu is really for real. O.o

 

If they aren't CHARACTERS for whatever reason, they WILL without a doubt be trophies or assist trophies.

I believe Chorus Men are from Rhythm Heaven Fever for Wii.

By the way, Jynexo, Chrom was part of that leak as well and has yet to be revealed himself.

Sakurai asked for references to make the model for the Rayman Trophy. He expected a 2D drawing reference, but Ubisoft sent him a brand new 3D model, rendered just for this game. Just as he said himself, it's nice to see the efforts of other developers contribute to this game.

I just realize that if Rayman is playable he would be the first third party character not made from Japan.

I dunno but I hope Rayman isn't the new character.....sure it'll make sense and I'll be kinda happy regardless but I want other characters over Rayman
