The Great Fox from Star Fox: Assault makes it way into the Wii U Stage Roster.

Sector Z was my absolute favorite stage in the first SSB.  Seeing it continue to appear brings back so many memories.  :3

HOLY CRAP THOSE GRAPHICS! :O I guess Corneria's not coming back though. I can only hope some of the Brawl Stages return. Besides the obvious ones i mean(Like Final Desination and Battlefield).

What do you mean? Corneria was Melee, and Final Destination and Battlefield are staples to the Smash series so they return in each title as new stages.

the Great Fox was also already in Smash Bros 64 and this looks like to be similar to it

That's not what I was saying here. I already knew that since I've played every Smash. I was mentioning how the wording had confused me. He mentioned Corneria from Melee, but only mentioned Brawl. I was simply curious to what he meant.

Oh sorry. What i meant was, i don't think Corneria's coming back since it was from Melee, unlike other stages we know are coming back for sure(A.K.A. Staple stages, like Final Destination and Battlefield).

Today's Pic of the Day is the 3DS Mega Man stage. It's literally the same damn stage as the Wii U one, just daytime.

Pic of the day. In general, there are completely different stages in the 3DS and Wii U version, but we made Wily Castle and the special boxing ring available for both versions! We didn't forget the Yellow Devil either. There may be some small differences in the stages, such as the 3DS stage appearing to be during daylight hours.

Yeah, the website updates with the Pic of the Day as well, so it's a bit awkward. The Miiverse doesn't have Sakurai's post yet, but it's up on the Smash site.

Oh ok, thanks.

Well then, then Sonic's stage in the 3DS version will also be windy hill but in night time

Not a big deal but I wished they used different stages for the 3DS version....like using Air Man's stage from Megaman 2

They could have had somethin' like maybe having a change in level obstacles with the robot things being obstacles for the players? I don't know much about Mega Man.

For anyone who cares:

I found a video of an hour worth of gameplay of Smash 4 Wii U from E3, which has the best audio quality i have found from all the gameplay. You can actually hear the music of the stage, and the grunts/battle cries of the characters.

A few notes i have to say about the stages and characters:

I like the music that plays in the Coliseum stage, but i do not know if it's a remix of a pre-made track. The music in Wily's castle sounds similar to the Wily Castle remix that played in Mega Man's reveal trailer. The Skyloft music sounds like a Rock Remix of the Ballad of the Goddess song. The Boxing Ring has the music that was in Little Mac's Reveal trailer(when gameplay was shown). The Mario U stage is a typical remix of the classic Mario theme.

At 15:52, Pit dealt a blow to WFT that had the Red Line effect appear, meaning it should've KOed WFT(it's to signify a guaranteed KO), but she survived. Perhaps there is still DI in this game.

Apparently Little Mac does have a voice actor, or grunt VA anyway. Pit has his Uprising VA, and Fox....His VA sounds REALLY weird. Way different from the Brawl or Melee ones. No offense to the VA, but he sounds too nasaly and high pitched for someone like Fox. Its not Japanese VA, when someone lpaying Fox won the match in one of the later matches he clearly said "This is Fox, returning to base."  The first Match you can hear his VA in is at 8:40. When he yells things out like "Fire!" and "Landmaster!", you'll be able to tell.

Pic of the day. This is the Tomodachi Life stage that's exclusive to the 3DS version! The front walls of the apartments disappear so you can see the area within when a fighter overlaps with the room. The rooms are randomly placed and selected from among several types. Planting an X Bomb behind a wall might be an effective tactic.

You might run into a Mii living in the room! The Mii characters are taken from the data in your 3DS system, so you could find your friends living in the apartments.

I may have read that this stage was leaked so I've no clue whether to be surprised or not. Like, I dun trust leaks often, but then they actually happen so it's not as surprising or exciting.

1Thanks for the video buddy ^_^

2That's because it's Fox's voice from Star Fox 64 if I remember correctly

I can already tell you my two mains are going to be Sonic, Kirby; gotta love that little puff ball. My body is ready for October!

That's his Starfox 64 VA? o_O Wow, he sounds way different than i remember him being. Oh well. I'll get used to this. Still gonna miss his Brawl VA tho, i felt that one nailed him perfectly.

Not sure on that so don't quote me yet.But I agree with you that it feels really nasal especially when he yells Landmaster

I honestly hope the online play won't be laggy like Brawl was, but man every time I watch a trailer for this game my hype goes up!
