Eh so we all know from KH3D that Sora isn't "technically" a master (lame I know). Supposing that Sora was going to have a new master, who would it be? Here are some scenarios

-Yen Sid. Eh, he's not really working for me.

-Riku. Kinda weird but he is a Master now.

-Mickey. mmm.... maybe

-Aqua. I personally would love if that happened! After saving her from the RoD, she becomes his master, teaches him and personally makes him an official keyblade master. Epic I know.

-Eraqus. After seeing the new KHIII trailer with Sora picking up Eraqus's keyblade, I had an idea. What if he came back and became Sora's master. Now that would be sweet! Not as sweet as Aqua being his new master, but still semi-epic.

or .... Sora doesn't need one. He'd been one the whole time. Why he had to take a Mark of Master Exam in KH 3D? We don't know

What do you think? If Sora were to have a new master to make him a keyblade master, who do you think it would be?

I don't think Sora really needs a master.

Apprenticing really went out the window at the end of BBS.  But I think that both Eraqus and Aqua would probably teach him a few things, but not in the way where they'd go "I'm your Master", just friends having a chat/giving advice?.  And Eraqus isn't really gone, his heart was inside Terranort.

I would see Riku being Terra's master actually, since Riku conquered the darkness where Terra did not, he could teach Terra some things.

Yen Sid has already been enough peoples master ._.'

Nomura

Given that the whole "Master" thing is more or less arbitrary and devoid of any meaning, I think Sora will worry about that after he's done saving the world for the third time (which, incidentally, is a feat no one on the list can attest to).

to everyone who voted no master...

you forgot about the "friendship is magic" theme in KH

There are two ways to master even in this world, there is mastering through others and documentation, or personal experiences and trials.

The first may be hard and tough; however, the latter is the one of true mastery of that in which you seek and ever closer to mastering ones self as well.

In the end the one who walks the path of the latter will prevail and be notable for the true successor of that skill.

. . .

I have always wanted to say that, so if you did not partake in reading above. I say Sora will master himself, even if he is never labeled a Keyblade master,

Having Eraqus' keyblade at the end didnt seem to mean he would get a master, I took it as, he would use it to unlock castle oblivion and free Ven. Considering Aqua used that keyblade to lock Ven away in the first place. Also, I hope it means he will team up with Aqua somehow to get to Ven. I dont really know but i expect great things.

He hasn't had a master so far and has saved the worlds how many times ?  Just because friends are power doesn't mean you need a master per se .

He did everything in KH1, COM, KH2, and DDD without every getting any real training from a master so I don't think he needs one

I too think Sora doesn't need a master more than he has anytime before.

And Eraqus isn't really gone, his heart was inside Terranort.

I hope that's not true. I'd like at least one person to really stay dead -.- and him getting back to life would just make him death less sad. But that would be so like Kingdom Hearts though.

I reckon he'll be back, even for a moment or for his heart/voice to provide encouragement to his young apprentices, but I also hope he stays dead (I assume he'll most likely be revived when Terra is saved).  A good story has casualties and doesn't end perfect with everyone reviving and death meaning nothing.  I actually wanted one of TAV to die as well, and stay properly dead.

Aqua. He ends up with his master.
