Hello    I just realized there was a major part of the Kingdom Hearts story that I didn't get right and since I'm hyped about Kingdom Hearts III, I decided I should get ready by going through the story again and fully understand it.

 

1. So, towards the end of Kingdom Hearts, we learn that Sora was actually wielding Riku's keyblade and in Birth By Sleep we learn that Sora was able to wield that keyblade and was in the end chosen as the keyblade wielder because he possessed Ventus's heart and that made him a potential keyblade wielder. But what will happen when Ventus's heart gets back to his body? Will Sora still be able to wield the keyblade? Does he have his own power? :mellow:

 

2. This is a really short question. I was just asking myself if Vanitas was half Xehanort since we know that people who are half Xehanort have yellow eyes. Maybe it's just because he is pure darkness. I was also asking myself if Xehanort's heart was 100% darkness. It wouldn't make sense if it was. He would be a heartless right? :huh:

Doubtful because both are equal and the fact that weilders of light do not turn into monsters is questionable however its an interesting theory because if you remove the x frome xehanort and switch the letters around you get noheart but as far as its concerned I really dont think so because he already had a heartless but that couldve just been terras heartless since they shared the same body so to answer your question its questionable but I believe Xehanort is not a heartless

Nomura has confirmed in the past that Sora can/could wield the keyblade without ventus's heart  

Um I'm pretty sure Sora has his own power as Ventus's heart was temporarily in Roxas's when Roxas existed (which is why the two looks so similar- Roxas kinda IS Ventus, he even has his heart)And hmmm maybe he is?? Vanitas is pretty evil...

It's a common misconception that Sora will lose his ability to wield when he loses Ventus's heart.  Nomura said Sora was always destined to wield a keyblade--if anything, Ventus has more to do with Roxas than Sora.

 

It's possible Vanitas was half-Xehanort but it's not confirmed.  It might not be true since Xehanort needs his vessels to be near or completely empty, and Vanitas wasn't anything like a Nobody.

Sora has his own power and wields his own keyblade. It has nothing to do with ven. He got the keyblade because his heart was stronger than Riku's at that point. His own heart. Not Ven's heart.

 

Vanitas isn't half Xehanort. He is just Ven's darkness. But he could have been norted if that's what you mean.

Yep indeed . The only thing Ven gave Sora was a second keyblade .- confirmed by Nomura himself.

In the KH universe no one can live without light in their heart. If they do, it's because they are heartless or they have been stripped from their light counterpart (meaning that they are actually just a part of a full person and actually represent only 50% of Darkness in that full person). No one can be a 100% darkness. We all know that the X-Blade is created when equal forces of light and darkness clash. My theory is that the "Organization XIII-2" are not all 100% darkness. If they were, the forces of light and darkness wouldn't be equal. I think that they all have a little bit of light in their heart which keeps them human, this means that if they were only 7 "darknesses", the forces of light and darkness wouldn't be in balance once again because the "darknesses" wouldn't be pure darkness when the lights would be pure. The light would take over. So to bring the perfect balance between the light and the darkness, you would 13 "darknesses" which would each contain a little bit of light. Does it make sense?

What I was trying to say is that Vanitas represents 50% of a full person (since he needs Ventus to be full). That means the darkness of Vanitas only represents 50% of Ventus-Vanitas while Vanitas all alone is 100% darkness. Do you understand? And thanks for your answer about Xehanort. It totally makes sense   I understand now.
