Don't you just hate it in a game when the final boss is like this?

Posted

You reach the Final boss of a video game,he's a hard one with a shit ton of HP.....and RIGHT BEFORE YOU DELIVER THE FINAL BLOW ON HIS LAST BIT OF HP,you die and have to restart the entire boss fight aaaaall over again.

This has happened to me soooo many times it's unbelievable

That is kinda annoying, but it is most of time my own fault for letting my guard down and not fighting seriously until the end.

YES. I hate it so much

But sometimes the boss can pull of a cheap overpowered attack that takes down your entire HP meter

That happened to me with Jet Bahamut in XIII-2

This happened with me A LOT with Sephiroth in KH2, the only reason was because you either have to finish off a boss with a combo or magic in KH2 I believe,  and it was hard to back away from him and shoot magic, so I found myself dying because one simple hit isn't enough to finish him off.

I find it worse when you play, Pokemon....It's like "CRITICAL HIT!!" And you got that last one point left...And the Pokemon comes out of no where with a devastating attack.

Well that is true in some cases like in Prototype some bosses have some really cheap moves and can get really frustrating like this

And I can agree that Jet Bahamut's one shot attack was quite annoying and I had to carry like 5 elixirs with me to be able to survive till the end

But I do think that even those really powerful attacks are okay if they are predictable and you can prevent or at least weaken them somehow

This happened with me in KH1.

I hate when I'm playing a Final Fantasy and there aren't any ways to save for a while and the boss just destroys you

The only way I survived Jet Bahamut's instant kill attack is by putting Serah and Noel on Sentinet right in Count 2 and have the Healing Flan with me to heal the damage.

But sometimes Jet Bahamut gets reaaaaally cheap and fastens the countdown from 3 to zero in a matter of seconds so I can't switch to Sentinel

I love Jet Bahamut's boss fight but F.UCK that instant kill attack

Yeah. That ticks me off every freaking time...

Not with final boss, but the before'st boss in the dragon quest is beated me many times. and I beated him in lvl35.

And yes. Its really annoying.

Yeah, i remember the first time i fought the final boss in XIII-2, i died twice, and beat him the third time. It sucked. I had to make sure Noel and Serahj's HP were high enough to survive the attack, then when the attack came and went, i had to heal really fast. I had to switch between Serah and Noel constantly since Serah is really good for healing, and Noel's better for attacking and defending.
