The Fishman Island Arc is just absolute shit, if you haven't read/watched, you're in for a huge disappointment.

I just recently picked up a vague bit of interest in the series thanks to my friend showing me a special. I plan on getting into the series soon.

I actually enjoyed the Fishman Island arc. Coming out of the time skip I can see why people wouldn't care for it, but I found it entertaining.

I liked the backstory for Queen Otohime and Fisher Tiger, though it moved a little slow in some parts. It was business as usual in the One Piece fashion, so I guess thats why I didn't have a problem with it.

 

I think my least favorite arc is the Skypeia arc, but I think that's just because I first saw it through the 4kids dub, and it was just going sooo slow. I just recently caught all the way up to One Piece, but that arc just didn't do it for me, though Luffy's fight with Enel was pretty cool.

I started VERY recently . I finished Arlong Park and am heading into Lougetown......

What bout the Punk Hazard Arc?

I just started watching the series for the first time a couple of weeks ago. I can't say I'm hooked on it, but it's interesting so far. 

hi! as some of you know, i'm in isreal right now. i was stopping at the market where i saw some dragon fruits. i just had to buy one becouse ive never seen them in america. also i was thinking that one piece echiro oda might ave got the idea of a devil fruit from the dragon fruit. they look similar. they sound similar. they dont have the same power but it really sounds like it and now sometimes when i say dragon fruit i say devil fruit.

i thought it said vagina fruit

 

I love dragon fruit it tastes like kiwi, but a little bit more bland.

Keep watching it, I think it's worth the time.

My brother recently got into the series, and watches the Funimation dub on Hulu. I haven't read his copies of the manga, but the anime is alright. I like the fight scenes, and it is pretty funny at some points.

 

Zoro is my favorite character so far. Anyone played by Christopher Sabat is almost guaranteed to be awesome. Plus I get to call him Corporal Zororo.... And you're awesome if you get the reference.

I like it since I'm too un motivated to read subs atm, but it feels a bit weird?

The audio quality sounds a bit meh...

and I feel like they just used whatever voices they had (I swear I hear at least 3 DragonBall z  voices)

I really like it. Of course, I love Funimation's dubs.

if you were forced to eat a devil fruit, you had to eat one, what devil fruit would you eat. i'd eat the op op fruit or the flower flower fruit.

Pretty sure Dragon has the Kaze Kaze no Mi, so I'd take that.  Just cause I love wind and wind relates with sky and I love sky also.  Like Ven relates to Sora.

I personally don't like English Dub at all.  I agree with the too unmotivated-ness.  It's absolutely deplorable...  Subs are always the way to go!!

I like the funimation dub. In my opinion, the voice actors/actresses really improve as the story progresses.

I just really like the voices for them, they seem to fit well. Also, I hate having to focus on the bottom third of the screen, so I prefer being able to listen to understand what they're saying.

So there's a new One Piece game for the 3DS that's coming out in Japan and Europe! But it's not coming to NA and that's been confirmed. Dx
