Roleplay begins now!  I urge everyone to please read at least up to Ozpin's speech and the message in the parentheses.  Also follow the topic!  You are responsible for keeping up with the roleplay.  Now last but not least, have fun! (:

 

4:00 PM

 

It's been an hour since every student's arrival to Starlight.  Before arrival, each student was instructed to select an eye wear located in the ship's interior to use as an instrument for tutelage.  Now that everyone has settled down quite considerably, they are instructed to wear their chosen eye wear for instructions.

 

Ozpin

"Your reasons for joining the academy, whatever they may be, no longer hold any importance.  You are here today to save your kingdom in this hour of need.  I am sorry for all your losses, but you all must strive to save whatever and whoever's left.  Due to this grueling fact, your kingdom has asked too much of you, requiring you to finish your training in one year, no longer.  Your sheer purpose is to become the best at what you do.  At your time at the academy, you will find that victory does not lie in brute strength, but something else.  You have the rest of the day to prepare, your training begins tomorrow.  You are all dismissed."  And with Ozpin's closing remarks, accompanied an echo in each student's ear, reminding them of the importance of their success.

 

Sky

"Mom...Dad..." Sky repeated to herself.  She had been wording apologies for the past hour, after hearing the horrid new of her parent's demise.  She wasn't sure how to feel anymore, but one thing was for certain: after Ozpin's beautiful speech, she was determined to become a Royal Knight.  Sky stood up from the edge of the fountain in front of the school, making her way to the co-ed lodging.  "I better get some rest."

 

Gen

"Hahaha," Gen laughed dryly.  He rubbed the back of his hair as he tried to cope with the grief.  He bore many inward emotions at this point, mourning in his mind, although outside, it was different.  He had appearances to maintain and certainly crying was not the way to do it. Maybe, I'll just- Gen's thoughts halted at the site of a beauty, one of many most likely, from across the way.  After a couple moments of drooling over the gorgeous girl, he continued his thought, forcing the last couple words out, "-just, talk to some pretty girls like her."

 

(During this day, the day everyone has been accepted as official students of Starlight, everyone will be limited to 10 in-character posts for each character, to prevent any unnecessary bulk/excess posts.  I also don't want too much interaction to happen since it might just prolong the whole day, which isn't really needed.  Also, I don't want people to be discouraged by the innumerable posts.)

 

(For future references, I'll be posting the huge messages that Ozpin will be sending to each student.  When your character actually starts going off on their own, you may take control of Ozpin as the system has programmed responses and such.  Try not to use him too much though.  Also, when I post a huge reply as Ozpin, it usually means something big for the roleplay.)

Sora looked at the door number. She had picked a room at random, and ended up with...fifteen. Not her favorite number.

 

Actually, Sora missed Reverb. Maybe Sanctum had some cars they lent out for transportation...?

Then again, Aellyn gave her some money...hmm...

Deep in thought, Sora opened Dorm 15 and stepped inside, tripped on her own feet, and executed a perfect forward flip, ending up on her butt, maid headdress askew.

"Owie..." She said, rubbing her head. Other then the headdress, her maid uniform remained impeccable. That...and two black fox ears now were standing up from her hair, twitching as she rubbed her head. She didn't realize it as she leaned to the side to rub her behind...but they were there. In plain view.

 "Yea, give me a second." Azura answered as she took out her sword from the sheath. Falling down as the wind tugged on her hair, Azura brought her sword into a giant tree to use the resistance to land. However, the landing wasn't very smooth when Azura nearly fell over; luckily she was able to hold herself upright. "Sorry, landing is not really my thing." Azura said sheepishly. The poor tree Azura used to land was now split almost in half. She felt her cheeks getting warm in embarrassment as the tree tobbled over with a loud crash. 

Sky

Pax clung tightly to the branch of the tree he was hiding in as if his life depended on it, eyes bulging wide at the sight of the large academy before him. "How can just one building be so big and scary?!" Tall, athletic teens streamed into the school. Most were taller than him. Stronger-looking. Totally intimidating. He could hear the thumping of his racing heartbeat in his ears as he brought his body closer to the tree. "Mmmm...m-maybe I should just leave..." But he quickly shook the thought out of his head. "No!" Pax made a face of determination and clenched his fist in a sign of strength. "I can't give up now! This is just the beginning!" He nodded, motivating himself. "I can do this!"

 

He looked down at the swaying green leaves below his feet, smiling softly.

 

"I have to do this." He told himself in a whisper that was blown away by the breeze. "Or else I won't be able to find HIM..."

 

"But..."

 

"HOW DO I GET DOWN FROM HEAR?!" Pax exclaimed out loud, waving his arms in exasperation. His sudden outburst caught the attention of students below him, and they looked up in wonder. "GAH! They heard me!" Panicking, Pax shook the tree with his frantic gestures. "How'd I even get up here, anyway?!"

 Azura face-palmed for being stupid to almost hurt her friend. "Yea, I'm...fine. But the question is, are YOU alright? Because of me that tree almost crushed you." Azura was about to follow Sky into the dormitories when suddenly she heard a male cry, "HOW DO I GET DOWN FROM HERE?!" Looking up, Azura noticed a boy all dressed in purple clinging on a tree branch nearby. How the boy ever got into that situation, Azura have no clue. 

"Need any help up here?" Yumiko asked the boy on top of the tree. She said it right behind him, literally right up on the tree next to him. "Well no time for answers, its getting late! Watch yourself!" Yumiko smiled happily, pushing the boy, Pax.off the tree, sending him to the ground. A few seconds before, Yumiko fired an arrow of wind-like Dust, which she shot to the ground under Pax, letting the wind slow his fall gently soon before an impact.

"Oh, hello. And thanks, I forged and repaired it by hand every week, my father told me a weapon was a fighter's best friend in combat, and as such you must treat it like you would a best friend." Ryan stood up, deciding to display the modes. "First off, we have Buster Sword mode, large, heavy on one hand, and great for recoil attacks." He held the blade upwards, turned the flat part of the blade to him and gripped it by the handle with both hands, it split into two blades, the blue center slid up, flipped up onto the top, then thinned inward and extended till it became razor sharp and quite long, almost stabbing the roof. This occurred on the other blade as well. "Twin Katana mode, where I can slash and cut as many enemy's down in a fast, dual wielding mode." He flipped the blades downward as he threw them, the center piece became dull again and shortened somewhat, as the blade split in the middle, attaching on the flat part to his arm on the blade, the length mostly then went out towards his fist as the blade doubled over again. Then, the inside part of the blade attached to the top of his arm, and then split open and created a cuff from about an inch from the wrist down to his finger knuckles. the blade on this part also extended and doubled over, but now the blue part of the center on each side reinforced each end and locked together, making a large wristband shape of sorts. the handle then detached and went inside of the glove, attaching in the palm of Ryan's hand on each side, and then the outside of the glove formed finger hole shapes, which slipped onto his fingers, now leaving the length at about the regular knuckles of the fist, and forming a glove-like piece on his hand. now the blades split from the top, the blue inside piece reinforcing the top part of the blade slid off, and locked  on the sides of the gloves, giving him four blades in all. "Bladed Gauntlet mode, built for martial artist and people willing to get dirty with hand to hand." He brandished the gloves, looking at them and streatchign his fingers. "I know what I;m going to train with today." he thought. "What do you have?" He asked the man.

Syfe smiled slightly, glad to have gotten a competent roommate. "Me? Oh, it's nothing too grand." Syfe understated. He knew his weapon was extraordinary. He slipped his hands under his coat, and grasped the handles of the pistols in their holsters. "My father told me something very similar. He told me, 'Son, a general's weapon is his most significant ally. She is the love of your life, and you must treat her as such. Always care for her, and always keep her with you. If you trust her, she will reciprocate your care, and save your life more times than you can count.'" Syfe smiled at the memory before continuing. "Anyway, I custom forged this." He said, before pulling out the pistols from their holsters. "Pistols for a bit of range, covering fire, or anything else I could use them for. They are a bit large for a hand gun, but that adds to their power, plus, they can do this." Syfe explained, before pressing a button, which made the pistols start to change. They spun, and unfolded until they were two short swords. "Swords. Helpful for quick and damaging close combat, and flexibility in my attack pattern." Syfe continued talking about his weapon, showing off a few moves in slow motion. "Finally, we have the crown jewel." Syfe put the hilts of the two swords together, and pressed the same button as before, and the swords joined together. He spun his dual blade expertly. "A dualblade. Perfect for blocking, or for medium range attacks. Also, spinning it not only looks awesome, but is a pretty effective attack if you know how to use it." Syfe finished, grinning profusely. He loved to show off. It really was nice to see his skills and weapon appreciated. He pressed the buttons twice, and the dual blade disconnected and shrank back into pistols. He holstered them again, and looked towards his roommate."Anyway, what was your name?"

Sky

Sky turned around looked up to the person yelling for help.  Really?  A guy asking for help? she questioned the guy's motives.  Either he's an incompetent fool or he's trying to make a fool of someone.  I'm not helping him, she thought to herself, continuing on.  Her cold feeling towards the boy emanated with her demeanor, eventually reaching the dormitories.  To her dismay, it was just as she recalled from the instructions, a coed lodging plan.  Just the thought of any boy being that close to her irked her, she did not like the other gender, in fact she actively avoided any type of interaction involving them.  

 

She turned back to see Azura still distracted by the helpless boy.  What an idiot! she thought, as she stared at the boy, now being rescued by a beautiful girl.  Why would she help him?  What if he took advantage of her?  She might as well throw caution to the wind!! she thought, beginning to have an internal conflict.  Should she be angry at the girl or protect her from the boy?  And at the end, she decided not to do either.  "If she's willing to help out that boy, then I don't care about her either!" she said to herself a bit loudly, opening the door.  

 

"Hey!" Sky called out to Azura, turning back once more.  "I'm gonna need to key to room 11, Azura!"

"Pretty flashy weapon, but I doubt it takes away from the effectiveness one bit." Ryan smiled a bit. "Sorry, I'm a bit of a weapon freak. Name's Ryan, of the Whin family. thirty-filth generation, child of Davis Whin and  Alice Tora, two well-accomplished fighters." Ryan stuck his hand out, hoping he would be met with a similar gesture. "Nice to meet you."

Pram didn't spoke the entire walk neither replied to his question she instantly just walked away to his dorm room and went walking to the halls just went it was about to get dark. Her foot steeps echoed through the hall way. 

Alvis watched as Pram walked away without a word. He scratched his head. "Well then..."

Alvis walked down the hall, reading the numbers off of the doors, until he reached Room No. 13. He slipped inside. He barely took in his surroundings, as all of the social interaction he had done during the day had drained him. He didn't notice that there were two beds as he took off his shoes, removed his tie and vest, and neatly set them on a nearby chair. He then fell face-first into the nearby bed. What a day, Alvis thought. Wonder what tomorrow is gonna be like. Alvis soon drifted off into the realm of sleep.

 

(Unless someone decides to room with me, I'm done for this Day.)

 Azura frowned. 'Did Sky just say that?' She thought, Turning around as Sky called for the keys, Azura rushed over to her looking a bit worried. The words from what Sky said repeated in her head as Azura searched for the keys. Finally finding the key, she unlocked the door, however before either of them took a step inside, Azura stepped in front of Sky. "Sky, are you ok? After since you saw that guy clinging on the tree, you're acting...different." She noticed Sky was an inch taller than her, but she pushed that discovery aside.

As Aria sat on her bed, she listened to people pass by. She was saddened by the fact that she was so far away from her brother. She perked up however, when she overheard someone's comment. "Coed?" She asked herself. In a matter of minutes, she had found room number sixteen, where Kyame was staying. She stepped inside. "Kyame, the dorms are coed." She declared."Oh, well that's nice." Her brother replied. "Anyway, we should get some sleep." He got into bed. "Who knows what could happen tomorrow."Aria nodded and slipped into bed beside him.(OOC: There, done.)

 "If she's willing to help out that boy, then I don't care about her either!"

Sky, surprised by Azura's appearance as well as her question, stood there quietly.  She looked away, directing her attention at her shoes as she tried to gain her composure.  Should I tell her?  No!  That's stupid, it isn't something I should tell anyone.  And without thought, Sky uttered a series of words that would probably end her newly made friendship in seconds.  Sky wasn't a very good speaker and because of this, her phrases could have been structured a little better - or a lot better - than they were.  "I hate guys!" she announced to Azura, laughing a bit dryly as she shoved her way into the dorm room.  She laid her stuff down and turned back to Azura.  "I seriously want all of them to die, haha."  She continued to try to laugh it off, falling face flat into her pillow.  She ended her reasons with muffled words in a pillow, saying, "They're a waste of human resources, other than reproducing, they're useless, along with anyone else who would try to help them!  I'd even do it myself... kill them that is."

Yumiko looked off into the distance upon hearing Sky and what she said about her and the boy. She didn't really mind, but was confused. "Huh? What happened to her...?" She asked herself, of course confusedly, before dropping down before Pax. "See? You're all fine now! I mean, the fall wouldn't be that bad even if I didn't do anything but push you! Sorry if that was a little unexpected though, hehe."

Ayano was sorting out stuff on the top bunk of one of the beds and looked down at Sora, a bit worried.

"Hey are you okay?" she asked, looking down at Sora.

"What is she? Some type of grimm?! She has two plain seeing fox-ears sticking our of her head! Either she is a grimm or those or fake..." ​Ayano thought a bit worried, 

"I'm Ayano by the way." she said with a smile.

((OOC: What exactly are you confused about?  Your character is currently inside a room looking out a window.  All I'm asking is for everyone to pick a room number between 1-25.  List can be found on my previous post.  When your with the day in the roleplay just notify everyone and when everyone's done we can move on.  That's about it.))

Pram appeared in the hall ways again leaving no track where she was. She walked through the hall way looking for her dorm "1..2..3-"

she paused and stand next to the door she grabbed the doorknob turned it to open pushing her self in with a sudden creaking sound was heard from opening it. The child closed the door and sat on her bed looking at the the empty bed across her. "I wonder who's my room mate" she muttered chilling back in her bed.

 

((OOC: Can Gumi be my dormmate? I'm done for today))

Sora looked up, blushing."Yes..."She felt the breeze, and quickly flattened her ears, adjusting her little headdress. She looked up at Ayano a bit nervously."You saw them...didn't you?" She asked in a scared little voice, having repositioned herself to bend her legs around to either side of her body as she slumped a bit.Just her luck...maybe...maybe she'd be ok. Maybe she won't be mean because you're part Fauna... Sora thought. She tugged her collar, a habit she did when she was scared. Aellyn...

 Azura just stood there as she was taking all this information in. 

 

Sky

Sky, surprised by Azura's appearance as well as her question, stood there quietly.  She looked away, directing her attention at her shoes as she tried to gain her composure.  Should I tell her?  No!  That's stupid, it isn't something I should tell anyone.  And without thought, Sky uttered a series of words that would probably end her newly made friendship in seconds.  Sky wasn't a very good speaker and because of this, her phrases could have been structured a little better - or a lot better - than they were.  "I hate guys!" she announced to Azura, laughing a bit dryly as she shoved her way into the dorm room.  She laid her stuff down and turned back to Azura.  "I seriously want all of them to die, haha."  She continued to try to laugh it off, falling face flat into her pillow.  She ended her reasons with muffled words in a pillow, saying, "They're a waste of human resources, other than reproducing, they're useless, along with anyone else who would try to help them!  I'd even do it myself... kill them that is."

 

     Azura stood there as she was trying to understand all this information. "You hate guys so much...you want them all to die." She said slowly. This was the last thing Azura expected from Sky. Azura sighed as she sat next to her boy-hating friend.

 

     "You know, not all males are the same. I mean sure there are some guys who are jerks or useless, but they're plenty out there that are strong and nice as hell. Besides, most of us are here to avenage our parents, doesn't that count your father as well?" She stood up from the bed. "The Grimms are the one you're suppose to hate, not guys." Azura's voice sounded sour when she mentioned 'Grimms'. 

 

     She took out her stuff and changed into a black tank-top and dark blue pj's. "Think about it," Hitting Sky playfully with a pillow, Azura jumped into her bed and fell asleep. 

 

((OOC: Done for the day~)) 

"Ya, but it's okay. Don't worry about it." Ayano said with a smile.

"Alright Ayano calm down....I'll try not to worry...." she thought, looking away for a second.

"So, what's your name? You know my name now so why not tell me yours if we are going to be sharing a room?" Ayano asked.

Sora stood up, letting her ears pop up and relax.

"Sora Takagi..." She managed a shy smile. "Um...I'm...part Fauna...my dad was one..." She looked down, shifting her feet. "Just...so...you know..."

The poor girl stood there, not sure what to do.

"We'll that's unique, Sora." Ayano said with a smile.
"Good she isn't a creature of Grimm..." she thought with a small sigh.
"There is no reason to be shy..." She muttered.
