Right now I'm trying to decide between Kid Icarus Uprising, Kingdom Hearts 3D (both of which I've had before), or Fire Emblem Awakening. I want KH3D because, well, it's KH. I want Kid Icarus Uprising for the multiplayer, but my WiFi might become a problem, and people are saying that Fire Emblem is the best 3DS RPG to date, but there's only 11 minutes of cutscenes in FE, and I'm a cutscene kind of guy. Any suggestions on other games are welcome.

Final Fantasy Theatrhythm. It's a lot of fun, you play rhythm games to well known FF music, level up your FF avatars, and unlock different songs and characters from the games. It's quite addicting

Tales of the Abyss. Few games match the story and dynamic characters that this one has. It's even better with the spot-on voice-acting.

 Yep. I couldn't agree more. I even got my sister addicted to it, although she isn't really into rhythm games.

If you like The Legend Of Zelda you could try Ocarina of time 3d, there is also a lot of virtual console for Legend of Zelda and there's a new Zelda game coming for the 3ds in November, I play fire emblem (only the demo) and I like the gameplay, maybe because I played Final Fantasy tactics before and it's the same gameplay, sometime this year bravely default is gonna come out and it looks pretty awesome, like 4 heroes of light.

or you simply play demos of many games - if they are - and decide what you want. And of course there is also the alternative of buying ds games like pokemon, ace attorney, professor layton - the latest is also for 3ds -.

Okay, I think I went a little bit overboard here but anyway, that's what I'd absolutely recommend :]

Kid Icarus Uprising. The gameplay might be a bit difficult to adjust to when first starting out, and trust me, there's a definite learning curve there. However, it has an incredible story, entertaining dialogue, and one of the best villains I've seen in a long time. If you do decide to try it and don't think it's a game for you at first, just try to keep playing. It will get better.

There are more than 11 minutes of cutsence in FE:A,you just saw the CG cutsence.Trust me you should get fire emeblem awakening,its really good.Get kingdom hearts if you're in the mood for kh,or you won't enjoy,then again that might be so....In the end its your choice.(gtg will finsh this post later)

I'd say tales of the abyss it's over 50 hours if not more or shin megami tensei iv only if you can take silent main characters and tons of challenges i mean it's hard like dark souls or ninja gaiden hard or if worst comes to worst fire emblem kingdom hearts or kid icarus would do really there's a lot of good 3ds games i'm actually on my 4th playthrough of tales of the abyss shows how good i think it is but you should probably check out a couple trailers of all these games if your not sure

Fire Emblem is quite a good game but not very interesting for Newcomers in the Series imo ... I never really played one of these games and played new one a while because my friend bought it, and it wasn't that ... promising to me... It's not bad, I think it's a very good game, but not the best RPG to date... The new Mario & Luigi RPG is probably better because it's suited for almost everyone.If you want to play something with more action than a RPG I would recommend Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate. ;O
