I've been thinking for awhile about how sonic '06 had the potential to be one of the best, most epic games of all time. all of this potential obviously went to waste due to rushing it and not much effort going into it. Sonic is obviously out of that phase now, so it got me to thinking. If there was the whole game remade kind of like the generations crisis city level, it could be amazing. Better level design, a better story, no glitches, etc. And this game has the potential to be the best sonic game ever, sonic '06's concept was phenomenal, it was just horribly executed. Thoughts?

I think that would be a great idea. The story wasn't bad, and with some better mechanics, it would make a great game. 

Nope don't want that at all, I prefer series to go forward, Sonic 06 was a bad game and that is Segas mistake to deal with, everyone is trying to forget about that game, I prefer the direction the series is going in currently.

it had far too many plotholes, but again, the concept was great. like sonic getting killed, that was a great twist. I would want elise gone though...I want amy to replace her, but amy can fend for herself so thats why she's awesome. also beastiality...just ew. AmyxSonic is better than a furry fantasy

The scene where Sonic dies could be made a little more tense (It didn't give me any shock). Replacing Elise would only cause even more problems with the story, unfortunately.

Elise should stay in the game and get her own playable story mode.

I wouldn't mind a Sonic 06 remake since the game had so much potential,but everything would have to be remake from scratch except for the script of the story if they like it as it is,because besically everything was wrong in this game.

I would love that. My favorite character is Silver, and it sucks that not many people like him because of how bad '06 turned out.If they do remake it, they really should remove Elise... seriously that story was so terrible, Twilight was better than it.

I think that a remake is in order. In my opinion, even though the story was somewhat nonsensical, it was probably the second-best story in the Sonic series (second to the 'Shadow arc'). It would be nice if Knuckles had some more playable sections, though.

Elise would have to be reimagined as an anthro character at minimum just to quiet the complainers (though I think everyone blew it way out of proportion)

They shouldn't waste their time remaking a piece of shit like Sonic 06 because even if they corrected the gameplay to an extent,the story is still the worst I've ever seen with plotholes up the ass

 

They already got a winning formula with games like Sonic Colors and Sonic Lost World,if there is anything they need to do,is to make characters like Tails,Knuckles and Shadow playable since they got rid of the boost
