It was way too easy. I kind of feel like ventus armor was tacked on and ansem was meant to be the final boss.

Actually, besides the Ventus armor battle, the last boss would technically be Xemnas and Young Xehanort (YX after Xemnas of course).

The armor was added on last minute . YMX was meant to be the final boss at first then Nomura decided it needed the armor fight .

Fool. Kind of a final fantasy element. The very very last boss isn't very hard. It's usually the boss right before it that's hard. This probably isn't the case in all FFs, I've only played a few.

I actually found all the final bosses in DDD a little to easy. With the exception of Ansem SoD. I think the problem is that it's almost too easy to grind to get to the point where you can just hack away at them. Not to mention that a lot of the abilities you have are broken (Spam Balloonaga, and voila).

I think the main thing is the sort of dueling aspect of it. On the one hand, I do like the concept of going one-on-one with the big bad and using your skills as a swordman. But as I said, DDD's play mechanic makes it all to easy to button mash and stack up your abilities, and then it becomes a bit of a breeze. I think I prefer something in KH1 or 2, where you have to clear hurdles, puzzle solve, and really bust your gut in order to get to the boss before you're even allowed to button mash on them, and even then it's for a shorter time. It keeps you on your toes a bit more, and makes it feel like more of a prolonged obstacle to overcome.

It was pretty easy. It might be the easiest boss to beat in the series.

I dont know about that Dave. KH2 is pretty easy when you think about it. Mostly you can just mash X and Triangle to win, and heal when neccessary, and you'll win most fights easy. You can't do that with the secret bosses obviously, but with the story bosses, you can use the method to really beat anyone. I know, ive seen TealGameMaster do that SOOOO MANY TIMES. Thats his main play style.

Thats why i prefer the harder games like BBSFM. That game is a wake up call game. You can't spam X to win every fight, enemies do alot of damage, and you have to strategize with your Command deck and when to dodge and that stuff to win. I think thats why i also like FF, since you have to strategize.

You are awesome for watching him.

The only bosses I had trouble with were Ansem, Xemnas (before I learned about Drop-me-nots), annnnnd... well, that's it actually. Ven Armor was pretty easy, and even Julius wasn't that hard.

Im assuming you watch him aswell, so you are awesome too. :) The only thing that annoyed me about him is in his BBSFM playthrough, he used Cure and attack instead of doing what he did in DDD and using Commands and Attacking in conjunction. IT wouldve made it easier for him, especially if he used D-links but he didnt. Thats why he ended up not liking it as much as the first 2 KH games, because you cant mash X and heal to win.

He also decided to use Terra for the secret bosses, and caused alot of aggravation on himself, and blamed the bosses for being cheap, while if he had used Aqua or Ventus, he wouldve easily breezed through them. He was being kinda dumb honestly.

Ventus armor was added because the ending of TWTNW was anticlimatic.

All the boss fights were pretty easy because I overleveled myself

Well those games were built around the Command Deck, which I honestly found unsatisfying in everything after BBS as it was repetitively and poorly used in all games after BBS. The command deck is meant to be used. You dun have magic, or quick commands, it was all put in a small deck that you HAD to use.

I agree, the bosses felt like they were a bit too easy (and I usually fail horribly when playing bosses) except Ansem SoD; YMX was challenging too. The whole battle system was more like button smashing. I liked the older battle systems and puzzles, for example fighting the Samurai Nobodies and waiting for the right button to light up.

Well, in my opinion, I enjoyed the final Ventus armor battle just because of how awesome it was, but it was a little too easy. The 3D effect was really cool in that battle, just like the Ansem battle.
