Why is it that the HD 1.5 remix has received so much hype? As far as I can tell, there is not much of a graphical overhaul, so why is there so much excitement about it? The only things that I think are worth getting excited about are the Days cut-scene film and the additional cut-scenes that are included in the first game, but even then, all of these cut-scenes (including the cut-scene film) can be viewed on the internet now, and the additional cut-scenes for the first game apparently do not even have audio to them. Add this to the fact that both of the playable games were already available on the PS2, and... With all seriousness, what is so great about this remix?

Because people like it. They are different from you. The end.

Well, this is the first time KHFM is being released outside of Japan, and while it's true that you can just watch the extra cutscenes and extra boss fights online, it's not the same as experiencing them yourself. Also, this is the first time that Re:CoM is being released in Europe (and I think Australia as well, but I'm not entirely sure). Thirdly, this gives people who didn't play the original games when they were initially released (such as myself) a chance to finally play them (and with extra stuff, as in the case of KHFM).

You never played KH1?

ONLY things? ...What? How you think the Days cutscenes which we already know the story of is more exciting than Final Mix finally coming to the US doesn't make any sense at all.

Plus, we can play the game in 1080p. For those with a HUGE TV, this game is going to look phenomenal on it. If it was on PS2, it looks like blurry utter shit and it's not full screen.

DAT Final Mix.

You never played KH1?

Heh, yeah... which is why I am really excited for this.

I consider the story of KH to be the most important part of it, so the fact that Days is going to be properly presented in this way is substantially more important to me than the enhancements in the appearance of KH1 and CoM. The only things that are important to the story that Final Mix adds are the fight with Xemnas and a view of what happened when Riku's heart was sent behind the DTD.

Me too. But we also get two new Keyblades, more weapons for Donald and Goofy, and new amazing abilities that make the game so much more fun.

I this serious or?

I would fill in my response and though I have played KH1 (being the first KH game I played), Xiro pretty much has the best reasons behind why 1.5 ReMIX matters.

Because it's the best game ever. This series has had an emotional impact on myself and everyone else who's has played it, I'm sure. It's more than just a game to some people. Plus we get an art book & trophies. :3

Uhm, it isn't that hyped as far as I noticed.

This sums up everything from this to Playstation 4 and xbox one.

Yes, Australia too. We are under PAL.

But yes.

Kingdom Hearts Final Mix outside of Japan.

Re:Chain of Memories in Australia & Europe.

Both of which are remastered in HD.

With a ton of trophies to collect.

PS3 custom themes.

Artbook

358/2 Days cutscenes in HD, nearly three hours worth no need to play the boring old DS game now.

New cards in Re:CoM.

And improvements in KHFM like better camera controls, reaction commands, Summon instead of "Examine".

Think that's everything.

Because its on a PS3

Because there is an Artbook

Because its remastered in HD

Because it will have Final Mix content

BECAUSE ITS Kingdom Hearts ❤

Because its KH. Nuff said.
