"Till then, the safe money is on Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix, with Kingdom Hearts 2, Birth by Sleep, and Dream Drop Distance engineered for Sony's 3D TVs."
September 15, 201312 yr Choked on my food at the Dream Drop Distance part. Now, imagine if it was playable, since quite recently 3DS game porting has been deemed seemingly easy. Of course they wouldn't leave out Re:coded though, so this time I take it we're getting three playable games and a game's cutscenes? Assuming this is reliable, consider me hyped.
September 15, 201312 yr Fool. This is completely based on opinion with no ties what so ever to someone who makes these decisions. They're just saying it's a good idea.
September 15, 201312 yr That is simply the opinion of that article's writer. Who is wrong anyway. The HD 1.5 ReMIX credits show Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, Birth by Sleep (Final Mix assumed) and Re:coded. It will be announced at Tokyo Game Show 2013.

"Till then, the safe money is on Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix, with Kingdom Hearts 2, Birth by Sleep, and Dream Drop Distance engineered for Sony's 3D TVs." That's just the writer's opinion, which according to the credits of KH 1.5 HD is completely wrong Not only it has shown KH2,Birth by Sleep and Recoded, but it's impossible to make DDD work on Ps3 because the game needs to screens as the game uses the 3DS touch screen for Dream Eater breeding, reality shift, and many other things that doesn't work without a touch screen. It's not just the 3D effects, the whole game emphasize the use of the stylus from the very first world in the game And don't tell me that they can use the Vita because that means the game won;t work unless you buy a Vita to play it on the Ps3 Edited September 15, 201312 yr by Metal Snake

Look at the 3ds games that have been ported already, to systems without a second screen. they would change up the controls. It's not that big of a deal honestly. they probably wouldnt be as intuitive as the 3ds touch screen controls, but SE would make it work.

It's not that big of a deal honestly. they probably wouldnt be as intuitive as the 3ds touch screen controls, but SE would make it work. The ones that got ported don't support the touch screen Castlevania LoS Mirror of Fate doesn't support touch screen for example. But in KH3D case,so many things were designed with touch screen in mind even some special attacks. changing the controls will make it feel clunky and uncomfortable. It's not as simple as you think it is. how about another example. Warioware touched on the DS,a game completely built with Touchscreen in mind,Is it possible to port the game to...let's say the original Wii(not the Wii U...the Wii)???I think no because it'll be unplayable. It would take a lot of time and development hassle to port a game like KH3D without a controller with a touchscreen. Nomura himself said there won't be a rerelease for KH3D,otherwise we would've got Final Mix of it this year in Japan. Besides,it's named KH3D for a reason, the 3D not only refers to Dream Drop Distance, but it also refer to the 3DS itself like other 3DS games like Super Mario 3D Land,Zelda Ocarina of Time 3D...StarFox 64 3D...etc
September 15, 201312 yr How about the final fight with the clock. The touchscreen need to be just there to make it difficult. Also by parts of Tron World.

By "not as intuitive as the 3DS controls" i meant they would be clunky and uncomfortable. Yeah I realize they are important parts of the game, but I'm sure they could figure out a way to re-map them to a controller, though (again I AGREE) the new controls would probably be terrible! As far as your supposed "a lot of time and development hassle to port a game like KH3D", porting the actual game would take very little time. 3DS runs higher quality graphic engines than PS2 did and would most likely be easier than porting KH2 or BBS. The only "challenging part" would be remapping the control scheme, which once they figured out what the new one be, wouldn't take that much time to put into the game code. Also, Nomura didn't say that there would not be a re-release of KH3D. He said that they had no plans for a Final Mix version at the time of that specific interview. That's all he ever said. Now it probably won't be in 2.5 simply because the "teaser" in the 1.5 credits only shows KH2, BBS, and Re: Coded, but it could be, and despite the control changes, it wouldn't be that hard to port over at all.
