I dunno what's so special about a game that barely has anything ENTIRELY NEW on it.

I've lost two great friends because of that game, they prefered the game over me and call me GAY because I'm more into PS3 games and etc...

 

LoL(League of Legends) is considered one of the msot played games on the world... something that I can hardly believe!

 

You only pick a character and start on a map and the objective is to kill your enemies and conquer their base... Just it! Nothing more!

 

In order to buy certain character or even new pieces of armor and/or skins... you pay like higher than 20€... one of my so-called-friends alreayd wasted 300€ on this game to buy skins for character... he did not have lunch for quite a time to buy that.

 

I'm not the only one with this thought, I saw many sites that bring up the same topic. LoL ruins friendships... I prefer WoW, one of the worst MMOs now... than this League of Stupids...

 

Can't believe that some people spent mroe than 1 billion hours on this game... and doing what? The same thing over, and over?

 

The character have a story, but the game itself hasn't. Also, the character "steal" famous people/character's personalities and stuff from other games and movies.

 

There are many games that I dislike, but I truly HATE this one.

 

Usually, the "thing" that me and friends like would last a month, but... this game has been on their lives for a year, now... everyday they speak about the same sh!t over and over... I just can't believe what this game brought...

League of Legends is not a special game, but its not a horrible game. Its like saying the same thing about CoD people play it a lot but its not an amazing game

if your friends are putting money into it as well though thats kinda stupid. In League of Legends you don't have to pay for anything besides Skins. Champions and other such things require no money, so far i have only spent like $40 of my own money for skins. Otherwise the game is entirely free.

 

Everyone has their own opinions over games so if your friends like a game dont give them crap about it, cuz they shouldnt give you crap about the games you play either. Do that and in the end you will lose your friendship

It actually is, if not the most played game.

Think of it as a sport. Or, as I've been told, League of Legends is a sport. Anyways, I played it for a while, got eventually bored of it because it was so repetitive, but certain people are into that. How different is each round of football when you think about it?

Characters and skins are quite cheap actually.

 

Edit: Just checked the prices. Not as cheap as I remembered, but not that expensive either. But think of this. The game is free, your friends like the game, by buying characters and skins they are supporting the once making it.

It depends on the mindset of the person playing

 

I can't blame the game if a friend of mine was so butthurt of the fact that I don't play it

 

If they fight me over it I just try to ignore them or change the subject

 

My brothers once fought me over why I don't play Halo anymore and called me a girl for playing Final Fantasy,Kingdom Hearts,Mario and Pokemon

 

I learned later to ignore them and they ended up playing New Super Mario Bros Wii co-op with me at the end

I believe they like the strategic feel of the game, I don't personally like it. But it's quite clear why others do. 

I don't get why people like this game so much,but if they like it that's good for them I guess.The same could be said for every game though,there are people who hate Kingdom Hearts and don't get why it got such a big fanbase and think its stupid to have Disney and Final Fantasy character in the same game,but to us KH is lengendary.

 

Its all about our personal opinion.

LoL is a session based multiplayer game. So no wonder it doesn't have a deep storyline. I myself like the strategic feel on it.

I dislike it too....

I'm indifferent about that kind of games, never tried them.
