When could we expect to finally have a JP release date for this game? When was 1.5's JP date announced?

Argh. People need to stop making threads like this. This is the second one I've seen so far with such a misleading title. Can't you at least name it the same as the question, or something along those lines? Better yet, don't ask the question at all. Nobody knows until it's announced.

I gotta agree, it's very misleading. It's not that hard to form it as a question. Unless you're trying to trick people into viewing your forum, in which case that is just down right trollish.

HD 1.5 ReMIX's Japanese release date was announced at Jump Festa 2013. The English version's was announced outside of an event.

We will probably get a Jap Release date at Jump Festa in December.

True. I was lucky enough for 1.5 to be completely done with college and being in-between jobs so I played non-stoooop! I got ultima in FM like the 3rd or 4th day it came out. It still sucked ass though farming for it...I was going insane...

Whoa, lucky! I didn't beat Final Mix until a week or two ago, and I still have to fight the secret bosses and get Ultima xDx

Please don't use that language. It won't be done by then. No way. They have a lot to translate and I doubt they've even begun translating yet. Fact is the HD Collection is still in development.

1.5 came out in march i think also i think 2.5 will come out in september next year for outside japan release. :-)

What caused this speculation? This has never happened to KH, we always get the games 5-8 months later than JP. I don't see any indication that would say otherwise. for 2.5.

Considering more than just the JP teams are talking/giving out info and saying worldwide, I think Square's starting to get the right idea here. No point in holding us back for a few extra months for small translations and audio additions, including the fact that it's a HD remaster.

better they work one month longer and we have good quality than make it fast because of some "I WANT IT NOW" / "I DON'T WANT TO WAIT" people

 

they said that they want to improve it even more than 1.5 and this takes time

like with Days Re:coded will have a lot of new scenes which were pictures with speech bubbles in the DS version

and these scenes have to be dubbed in Japanese and English

maybe they'll dub the new KH2FM scenes, too and of course the Secret Episode in BbS

and before that it has to be translated

but I think some of you should think about the work it takes till you can play it instead of complaining about the waiting time

we got a lot KH games and you should know that every KH game needs time to be localized for us

Suspect near xmas (TGS or something is in December, something is) March for Japan, August-September for the rest of us.  

I really think that since they already told us that the game will be in English, that they are going to have the game release around the world near the same day as each other. Now not exactly the same day like Pokemon tried to do, and failed at, but like the Japanese game will come out first then like a few days later, if not the next day, the English version will come out. So I can bet it will be late Spring, Summer, or early Fall that the game comes out.

All I want is to have it by June. Which is an entire eight months from now. That's an extremely long time just to translate some words.

Meant to say 8 months. = June = Early Summer. That's an extremely long time from now. Japan is going to get it 4-5 months from now, so it wouldn't be asking for much getting it 3 entire months after them. 3 months is still a very long time just to translate...

I agree!!! I signed a petition for the localization of a game recently and have kept on top of what is happening with that. The thing that I have learned is that localizing a game takes alot of time and money!!! I don't want a game that is not as good as it can be!!! Now to anwser the question- I have seen posts saying that Jump Festa is when 1.5's release date was anounced last year. I think it is a safe assumption that it will be where 2.5's release date is anounced!!!

I'll admit, I'm extremely impatient. But one tends to be waiting on the best series in existence!
