I don't know about you guys

But Final Fantasy IV has to be my favorite Final Fantasy game of all time and one of my top 10 RPGs

I just can't express enough how awesome this game is and how it touched my heart more than any Final Fantasy game did with it's simple but great story and it's great cast of characters

I can't find myself hating any of the main characters in the game, even the likes of Edward despite being useless and I love Kain despite the frustrating second betrayal that made me lose all equipment I gave to him.....GODDAMMIT KAIN STOP BETRAYING ME!!!

Cecil has to be my favorite main protagonist in the Final Fantasy series followed by Zidane from FF9.

What made Cecil stands out to me unlike some emos in the series(Looking at you Cloud and Squall) is that despite his crimes as a Dark Knight...he was determined to redeem himself and atone for his sins and become a Paladin.....he succeeded at that task without moaning endlessly like what Cloud did in FF7 Advent Children or Squall's emo dialogue toward his comrades in FF8

One thing I love about Golbez, despite not being the main villain at the end,is that unlike other FF villains(except Caius),he considers you a serious threat,he's on your ass no matter where you go.In every dungeon either one of the four archfiends or their henchmen are on your tail,he mind controls one of your friends to betray you and take the Crystal, and when two of the archfiends were defeated,Golbez went to you personally to kill you by himself. That alone made Golbez for me one of the most intimidating villains in the series(again despite being not the main villain)....most of the villains in the FF series barely fights you until their final boss encounter where before it they just send their minions to kill you,Golbez on the other hand,is the first one in the series to go personally to kill you instead of waiting for you to kill all of his henchmen.I know I know he was mind controlled by Zemus and in the end Zemus was the Final boss, but think about it,while being mind controlled,Golbez was more intimidating than most of the villains in the series.

Not to mention the awesome fast paced Gameplay,FF4 has one of my favorite soundtracks in video game history

The entire soundtrack is awesome,Nobou Uematsu really did a fantastic job composing the music, making it one of the best SNES soundtrack you can ever hear

And the remixes of the DS remake made it even better....just listen

I.....I'm...not...crying....it's just.....it's beautiful

Final Fantasy IV is absolutely a game that I can recommend to any fan of Final Fantasy or JRPG in general.

Give it a shot  if you haven't played it yet

I recommend that you get either the PSP complete collection that also has FFIV the After Years....or you can get the DS remake

But be prepared...the DS remake(not a port...it's a remake) is way way harder than the original and some of your strategies that you might've made in the original version won't work against some bosses

I really liked Final Fantasy IV. And while I've got my own problems with it, it was a good game, and a good -and some could say underrated- Final Fantasy game. Because usually everyone's favorites are VI through X, but few ever think of the games before VI.

Me: This game is awesome to you, but to Prussia, nothing is as awesome as him.

Prussia: That's right!

Me: ^_^

Prussia: :D

Germany: Mein gott...

(Prussia is a country and a Hetalia character. He's also Germany's brother. The same goes for Germany.)

IV's my second favorite in the series, right behind VI. It was the game that actually got me interested in the series (I played I before it, but it confused the crap out of me so I wasn't too into it at first), and the only game I own four copies of. xD (Even though I'm selling one because I don't really need it anymore). The PSP version's definitely the one I'd recommend, it's great from what I've played of it (I mostly play TAY on it since I hadn't played that until I got Complete Collection). IV's a game I can truly recommend to any RPG fan, it's an amazing game. :D

The first one i played on the SNES era. My third favorite below FFIX and VI. Just... perfect xD... except Edward.... T_T

Of course FFIV is a really good game, with a great gameplay,an awesome storyline, with outstanding characters and AMAZING soundtrack.I"m not a big fan of Edward, ceodore and the twin mages though, they are ok,but not really interesting to me.At first I really didn"t care about Golbez,he was one of my least favorite FF villains ,but after rewatching the Dissidia 012 cutscene over a billion time and thinking things through he really grew on me,he"s still not one of my favorite villains, but I like him a lot now.Even though I like this game a lot,I still consider it as one of my least favorite FF(From 1 to 10 anyway),I don"t know why,but I didn"t had as much fun as when I was playing other FF

I didn't care about Edward either since he was useless until lv 70 but I don't think I can hate him.

As for Golbez,I love him as a character but not as a villain since as I said,Golbez was controlled by Zemus, but during his time as a villain he was legitimately intimidating

Dissida 012 also made me love Golbez even more....he isn't on my favorite villain list since he isn't really a villain but I still like him

As for Palom and Porom...I thought they were cute

Unpopular opinion: Rydia never appealed to me, and I hate how she's promoted so much compared to the non-Cecil & Kain chars.

I'll be getting all seven on Android next year.

I'll be getting all seven on Android next year.

Does that count The After Years?

Does that count The After Years?

Yeah, The After Years came out today. And VI comes out in a couple months. VII won't be on smartphones for years.

Hope they make 3DS versions of FFIV:TAY, and FFVI.

yeah its pretty great

Final Fantasy IV is my 3rd favorite FF game. Definitely the ff game I spent the most time playing because of the PSP version. Still play it to this day.
