Because buying a new TV when you have an older one that works just fine is expensive when you're poor.

They are called scart outputs. I got one on my hd tv and I can play it perfectly with my N64 and Snes.

...Read my post again...I said $850 all. together. if you buy a TV with at least 30 inches of screen size, a PS4, not to mention 60 bucks for KH3, PLUS the tax on that which would be close to 100 dollars. That all easily comes out to at LEAST $850 if you're forced. to buy a HDTV for the new consoles. It reaches higher than $1000 if the Xbox is the choice."LOOL" Edited November 16, 2013 by Raziel

Regardless, HDTVs don't cost much on their own. And in this day and age you need one. You're seriously missing out.

nope. I bought myself a $400 39 inch with my tax refund this year. xDI'm trying to make a point. HDTVs are cheap, yeah. If you get one less than 30 inches. I had a 19 inch and I honestly would have preferred a large box TV over that garbage. If you want any sort of decent size, you're definitely going to have to shell out $250 or more. Mines not even that big and it was 400 at walmart this year.
