Hey guys,

so I was planning to get a PS4 in 2015, once I finish my O' levels. Will the PS4 still be in by then, or would the PS5 come out or soon?

I was thinking that the PS4 would probably still be in but I wanted to ask you guys.

The PS3 came out in 2006. I only bought one in 2011. The PS2 was still being manufactured up until about two years ago to my knowledge...

I think it's safe to say that, yeah, the PS4 will still be around 2 years from now.

Thanks so much. I was getting worried.

It's never to late as long as you get in in time for KHIII and FFXV

They wouldn't have spent all that money developing, perfecting and marketing the system for it to have a 2 year life span.

Yeah if anything the ps4 will just be hitting its peak at that time :)

That makes a lot of sense.

Thank you all so much. I'm getting really excited now to get it. (Mostly for Kingdom Hearts 3)

Its probably also better to wait till then to buy the PS4 by then so you can get a cooler version than everyone who bought one early.  I have a better PS3 than one of my friends because I didn't get it for a few years after its release and I have more memory than him and mine runs better.

Yeah don't feel like u have to have one right away bigger and better games will be out in a couple years so just be patient :D

Essentially this... It'll be a while before another next gen console will be announced. On a side note: Master? Don't you have bigger things to worry about? Like... Oh I dunno... Your students!???! Or at least Aqua for.... Reasons... Yeah...

You won't have to start thinking about the ps5 for at least 4 or 5 years
