New Pokemon information on the upcoming games, Pokemon X/Y, will be revealed in next week's episode of Pokemon Smash in Japan. the Pokemon Company shared a teaser for the episode today.

The Pokemon Company has just confirmed through both Twitter and at the end of the last Pokemon Smash episode that there will be big news regarding Pokemon X&Y on Saturday next week and there will be new Pokemon to be shown in both the announcement and the next episode of Pokemon Smash

I don't want a new generation. You can give me the new starters and legendaries, the eeveelutions and a new region, but that's it, nothing more. I want them to stop creating new pokémon, they are obviously running out of ideas, the 5th gen was boring. Make a new region, mix ALL existing pokémons there.

I know I might be the only one here thinking like this, I'm aware of the risks but I'll post this anyway.

It's not confirmed that it's real yet and I think it doesn't have much to do with X/Y but, maybe this one could revealed too as part of this big announcement?

Actually I kinda like the new Mewtwo form

 

But again,I've seen soooo many fake scans that looks legit but turns out to be fake....especially since We're in April now

 

But since this is a second form it could be like Deoxys where you have a DefenseAttack form

Well if they didn't make a new Pokemon,then they won't be able to make a new game anymore because using the same Pokemon over & over would kill the franchise

 

Imagine if there was only the Gen 1, 151 Pokemon.The franchisw would've stopped 10 years ago because people would demand more new Pokemon instead of reusing old ones

Plus,As far as I've heard,most of Pokemon in X&Y qwill be old Pokemon and there won't be more than maybe 80 or 100 but don't count on me on that one

 

Besides,seeing more Pokemon is better than sticking with the same ones we saw.I got bored from the summons in Final Fantasy because most of them are the xact same summons I've seen in the old games only with different designs or different variation of the summon(I can't tell you how many times Ifrit,Shiva and Bahamut have been rehashed and redesigned over the history of FF)

Hehe. I love it. With the possible new Mewtwo form, I have been seeing the Steps of Pokemon Fan's Negative Reaction to a New Generation in action before my eyes on many sites.

 

So we have step 1: Denial. Most are in this stage right now, considering it hasn't been confirmed by anyone yet, but to me it looks like there's a good chance, considering its been hinted at, and there's supposed to be a big announcement Saturday. But, then again, it could be fake, just saying that it seems real to me.

 

Then we have Step 2: Anger. This mingles with Step 1 often. Many are already angry about the new form whether they think its real or not. Lots of flame wars and butthurt.

 

And next we'll see Step 3: OMGBOYCOTT. If confirmed, You'll see people vowing not to buy the games because they feel Game Freak has betrayed them, and they will try to make everyone they can agree with them.

 

And Lastly, Step 4: Submission. By the time the game is releases, most who cried boycott will have simmered down a bit and will eventually buy the game anyways. Will probably whine and complain about it anyways. Only the hardcore will still refuse.

 

So, yeah. The Four Steps, Fun for all Ages! It can apply to other fandoms too. Srs business folks, srs business.

 

Also, for the record, I'm kinda fond of the supposed new Mewtwo form, if it's real. Can't wait for clearer pictures.

I honestly don't care about the rumor on a new Mewtwo form. It looks like it got all sloppy and looks too fake anyways. IF it were real, it would probably be a more defensive version or more offensive version, but less attack for the former, less defense on the latter. Heck, I don't even use Mewtwo in ubers for those into competitive battling.

 

At least I'm looking forward to so far is Sylveon and Fennekin. Just no fire/fighting or Gamefreak is on trolling levels.

I have nothing against the 2nd, 3rd and 4th generations, I actually love them. The 5th generation's storyline and the game itself was great, but the pokémons were kind of boring, but this is only my opinion of course.

 

New pokémons eh? There's actually nothing wrong with them either, some are good but some make me say: "How does that even make sense?" 

 

And for X and Y, let's just say that I have high expectations.
