Sony's Gaikai-based video game streaming service, PlayStation Now, will stream PlayStation, PlayStation 2 and PlayStation 3 games over the internet to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita, as well as non-PlayStation devices.

So here's a possibility we may be able to play Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 and 2.5 ReMIX on PS4 and even PS Vita!

Wait, so you guys are telling that if I brought my KH II (PS2 version) and put it inside the PS4 it would work with PS Now!?

i have a vita. if kh gets released for it id finnaly have more than 2 good games for it. (persona 4 golden and gravity rush) i only got the vita in the first place becouse i got a used one on sale for $80. lucky me i guess but the library still isnt all that great. in fact i can only think of 2 good psp games. (BBS and megaman powered up)

So can I play a game like KH2 on the PS2 on the PS3?

No, only if it is on the Playstation Network.

Tablets? Smartphones? Ew, don't really see how those would work. Everything else seems great though.

Tablets and SmartPhones advance so much more quickly than video game consoles.

Also, it's very unlikely we'll see Kingdom Hearts titles playable on this service. Square Enix and Disney would both have to agree to it, and so far no Kingdom Hearts games are available digitally.

No it probably wouldn't work like that. I think PS Now will be more like Netflix where we have to get a subscription and then we will be able to choose from many different games. So if Sony choose to add Kingdom Hearts games to the list, we will be able to play it.

The first part is mostly correct. However it's not up to Sony if Kingdom Hearts games are playable, it's entirely up to Square Enix and Disney. Both of them must agree, it's very unlikely they would though.

Yeah you're right but why do you think they would not agree?

They haven't released any Kingdom Hearts games digitally before. And both companies release all of their games digitally now. So clearly there's something in their partnership that doesn't allow it.

Well they need to fix it so that we can buy KH games digitally. I find it weird that both have games available in digital, but never released KH games in digital......

Maybe it has something to do with cross-platforming the series? What I mean is that SE and disney has been jumping the games back and forth from Sony to Nintendo and back.

I'm not sure if this theory would be correct, but I think once they release KH2.5, maybe there will be a small chance of KH1.5 appearing as well as other classics. Then again, it probably won't be the case. Maybe they decided to wait for KH3 to release to put those games in digital. Whatever the case, they should release the games in digital so people who don't buy physical games can get it through digital.

Eh... who knows... Only time can tell.

As for the playstation now, this must be the cloud gaming system they are talking about. Too bad Playstation Plus and Now are gonna be separate subscriptions, but I like how in the future we can play PS3 and other titles on multiple platforms in the future. This is gonna be an interesting year.

Yes this is indeed the cloud gaming network Gaikai that Sony bought and they now have given it a name for their use. But yeah I hope they will add KH HD games so I can try playing them on my Vita too xD

PlayStation Now's recommended Internet speed is 5Mps. I'm surprised that's all. I'll be able to steam them perfectly.
