It would kinda be a recall to "End of the World" in KH1 but I think it would be awesome to have your partner characters from ever KH games fight with you in the last world for a certain section against the boss of that world but with less health because Sora is so strong but characters won't be an actually party member. Goofy & Donald will still be in your party. It'll be like Leon in the Gates in KH2.

i.e. Sora starts the world with Tarzan against Stealth Sneak, then Aladdin against Genie Jafar, and so on and so forth. It'll basically be a boss rush. Then on the last bosses, you'll have Mickey come out first against Young Xehanort, Ventus against Vanitas, Terra against Terranort/Ansem SoD, Aqua against Braig/Xigbar, Riku against Xemnas, and lastly two on one against Master Xehanort with Kairi and to finish the fight, all the Keyblade Wielders will do one final attack to Master Xehanort.

I was thinking that maybe you could have all of the party members from KH3 fight beside you, but with all of them fighting at the excact same time, all as fully fledged party members. And once they are defeated, they leave your party, instead of waking up and fighting again later like they normally do. Also, items that affect your entire party, such as elixirs, would be disabled.

I like the idea of Donald and Goofy sticking with Sora in the final battle . But isn't it all about the clash of the 13 Darknesses and the 7 Lights?

I was thinking that they may be a mix between some worlds of FF like they have been doing. Cloud returning but Sora finds out that Aerith died to bring some emotion with other friends they have made. But anything can happen we have not gotten much info yet. Even the marvel world might happen

Sounds kind of cool and awesome, but what would be the purpose of this? Why are you randomly fighting alongside all these people? How does this connect to the overall story? Sorry, but it's just as ridicules and pointless as randomly fighting alongside all different versions of Sora and Riku.

I prefer the idea of secondary characters being down on the field fighting a swarm of ordinary heartless/nobodies while the 13 darknesses and 7 lights clash.  It seems to me the idea is purely as a way to bring closure, all bound together til the end (of the saga) but I just think it's a bit pointless

I'd like to be able to fight beside, or even better, fight as each of the 7 Guardians of Light during the final level (or choose one to fight as). I'd especially love to fight as Riku or Terra!

Unless these characters are going to affect the plot in quite a major way then...

I don't remember when but Disney got the rights to Tarzan back and that's reason why Square was able to do 1.5. If they didnt get the rights back then there would be no 1.5 and Square Enix & Disney would be sued if they released it without having the rights.

Strange, because I remember someone who seemed to have legal knowledge and stated they could keep Deep Jungle if they didn't change anything from the original, because... I don't remember exactly what he said, but I think it had something to do with the KH version already being licensed to them.

So, according to that guy, they could put Deep Jungle in 1.5 even without Disney having Tarzan's rights because they already had the license for the version that appeared in KH. Like how a studio makes a movie based on a book, they still keep the rights/license to distribute this movie even if they no longer have the rights to make more movies of this book, at least that's what I got.

 

So, are you sure Disney reacquired the rights for Tarzan? Have you seen any news article claiming they did? You don't need to link me to the article, just tell me if you saw it.

No, they DIDN'T get the rights back. Do some research. Santos is 100% right to what he just said.

 

And to your topic, actually being able to PLAY as each character such as Mickey, Kairi, Riku, etc. would be MUCH cooler than just having them fight next to you...

Logically, what will end up happening is that you play as each of the seven lights against the thirteen darkness's. Each light would have their rival enemy, for example, Aqua vs. Braig/Xigbar, Lea vs. Isa/Saix, Riku vs. Ansem SoD, Ventus vs. Vanitas, so on and so forth. Rather than saying we play as the 7 lights, I should say hero's, but the main story mode is played as the seven lights. I'm sure Roxas will be playable in the final battle, same with Kairi. I hope we get some game time with as Terra though when we defeat Master Xehanort. I think Terra should be the one to kill him as it all kind of started with him in a way...

it'd be pretty interesting if they let you play as sora, riku, and kairi as a homage to bbs' ventus, terra, and aqua o.o, they've been experimenting with letting other characters being playable since chain of memories so i wouldn't knock the idea
