Holy firetruck, I just want to know when this game is coming out. After Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 & InFamous: Second Son come out, I'll have no games to look forward to. I don't want your speculations, I just want a damn release date. Probably at the end of the year like 1.5......

You'd think what with all the time-travel Square-Enix has been doing lately(Final Fantasy XIII and Kingdom Hearts 3D), they would be a bit more lenient with divulging the future of their products.

The one thing Nomura was upset about on HD 1.5 was that he didn't spend as much time on it as he wanted to. I'm sure he's just taking the time to make sure things get right. I bet we will have a release date by the end of March, trust me, I'm getting impatient too.  

I have enough to keep me busy. Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII, Tales of Xillia 2, Final Fantasy X| X-2 HD Remaster, Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z. And I haven't even finished I.5 yet. I'm not really expecting it until March in JP and September in the US

well it shouldn't be much longer until the japanese version gets a release date so once that comes out we should get release dates for everywhere else following that o.o but that's being optimistic because atleast 1.5 got a release date set all the way back in december 2012; however that just probably means that they're trying to make things perfect for 2.5 if it's taking this long (or they're procrastinating which i really hope isn't the case)

There will be no release date until one is revealed by Square Enix. Fans could not possibly know.

Not entirely true. Noumura had many reasons for the fans, such as releasing the Final Mixes outside of Japan, and catching newcomers up to speed for KH3.

Sorry but I dont think you understand how things work. Yeah Nomura might have wanted those things, but 1.5 and 2.5 were Square Enixs decision, not his.

Really? Well what are YOU looking forward to then? personally, while I do have a whole bookcase full of games I haven't played, I look forward to 2.5 ReMIX more than anything, cuz it is my favorite franchise of all time afterall

By the way, is it REALLLLLY that farfetched of me to hope for a 2.5 ReMIX in Europe in March-April? I mean the game is already in english, so all they need to do is translate the text and dubbing the silent cutscenes....right?

Well, if you're that curious, I'm currently looking forward to Child of Light, Metal Gear Solid 5, KH 2.5 (of course), Titanfall, Destiny, and Watch Dogs. I also pick up other random games on the side during the year as they are announced or that catches my interest while in a store.

 

Also, I don't think you realize how hard that really is. I don't know the technical stuff myself, but there's a lot of programming and whatnot in order to change the text. Plus, that's probably not the only thing they're doing.

Well at least the FF fans knew that game would come sooner or later, again because FF sells like hotcakes over in Japan so it was bound come out at one point or another. But we KH fans don't have that security net.

No, I completely understand, but I feel that Nomura, the passionate creator of KH, has a good say in it, and his reasons are true to me.

Man Just try being a Dragon Quest fan living in Europe, we did not get a numerical Dragon quest game until 8 and now the new releases are not getting western releases at all it seems like, I had to import a Japanese 3ds just to play the 7 remake. Point being that Kingdom Hearts is still very big, we are bound to get it, yes a release date would be nice but I am willing to wait
