WOAH! that makes sence!  are they named the same too?

Despite the fact that the kid in Frankenweenie and the character in Corpse Bride have different names, the resemblance IS uncanny. I had a theory a while back that after the events of Frankenweenie, Victor Frankenstein left his village in shame and changed his name when he got older to Victor Van Dort, and then after he died, he went by the name Jack Skellington. I mean, it makes sense. 

 

There are some discrepancies, though. Which is why I kind of abandoned it.

Holy crud, I always knew that both characters looked alike, and seeing that he could possibly be Jack Skellington makes things much more ironic. Could it be!? O_O
