February 24, 201411 yr Popular Post Good to know a quarter of 2200 people account for the entire American population -_-
February 24, 201411 yr I'm way too lazy to read the article right now, so all I saw was the newscasters without makeup. I think it's appalling they wear so much just to present news, but I say good for them for deciding to go without it this time.

February 24, 201411 yr oh my. only the bad stuff makes it in the news though. other countries have their problems and we have ours. i was ignorant enough when i was younger to think the Us is stupid and dumb but i realized every country has their fair share of problems based on what their culture is like and things like that. every where has problems regrettably.
February 24, 201411 yr Yeah, but I bet your country isn't trillions of dollars in debt, take that! *takes bite of cheeseburger*
February 24, 201411 yr http://www.nsf.gov/statistics/seind14/content/chapter-7/c07.pdfHere is the source. The actual stat is on page 23. Anyways the U.S. actually got 2nd place for the most percentage of scores right (on that particular question), though bare in mind the size of surveys and survey practices probably varied.(also the date did)
February 24, 201411 yr The craziest most insane thing I've heard about America is that Kinder Eggs are illegal. I meant they're chocolate heaven tastegasms. WITH FREE TOYS
February 24, 201411 yr At least we don't think the moon's made out of cheese anymoreWait... WHAT!?!?!?!? YOU MEAN TO TELL ME THE MOON ISN'T MADE OF CHEESE!?!? THEN WHY THE HELL DID WE GO THERE THEN!?!?
February 24, 201411 yr The craziest most insane thing I've heard about America is that Kinder Eggs are illegal. I meant they're chocolate heaven tastegasms. WITH FREE TOYS I didn't look it up, but it was probably due to some league of mothers who had experienced their child's chock on the toy. Probably because they didn't tell the kid there was a toy on the inside. >.<I really like mob rule based on people not using what should be common sense.Edit: It was due to "There are two reasons why these delicious treats are illegal in the U.S. One reason is the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) claims that the toys are a choking hazard for small children. All of the toys are relatively small, and some contain even tinier pieces that need to be put together. Kinder Eggs have a warning on the package, in several languages, that they are only suitable for ages three and up, which should be enough to un-ban them.Aside from children potentially choking on the toys, the real reason Kinder Eggs are banned is the Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act of 1938. This Act prohibits the embedding of non-food items completely enclosed inside food items, unless the non-edible part has a functioning value. For example a lollipop or popsicle stick is not edible but is a useful handle. This Act was originally put into place to prevent the addition of hazardous items to processed food and has never been changed."The accredited source to this information was http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/378773/why_kinder_eggs_are_banned_in_the_us.htmlThough it isn't on the server anymore. February 24, 201411 yr you know that the NY Daily News is a tabloid aka the type of newspaper you don't take seriously....

It's annoying .
February 24, 201411 yr To the op fix your link it doesnt always show the article in question. http://www.nsf.gov/statistics/seind14/content/chapter-7/c07.pdfHere is the source. The actual stat is on page 23. The Daily News version was a waste of time lol.

The Daily News version was a waste of time lol. The only useful thing about the Daily News versions is that more people read/view them. And they might make you interested enough to find the source and look at what the study really was about.Edit: And without that, it is possible to miss some interesting studies. February 25, 201411 yr I see . Well , even Greece has got more serious "problems" than America . What the ....
February 27, 201411 yr Because the US is totally the only country on Earth that has problems. (Note: The link didn't work, so I didn't read the article. I can easily assume it was the typical "US has fifty million problems lol all other countries are perfect" article, though)
February 27, 201411 yr If everywhere else is so perfect then why bother with us forsaken Americans that aren't worth saving?
February 27, 201411 yr Author This wasn't a knock against america so much as a knock against the state of scientific education.
