I just got soooooo many flashbacks from that song.  One of my favorite boss battles.  :')

@devereauxr  Rage Awakened was my first thought/choice to use, but felt like having some variety with a different theme. 

Phase 1:

Backstory: Venturia, once a peaceful kingdom, has been taken over by Myrad, a dark sorcerer who was banished to another dimension hundreds of years ago for nearly forgotten reasons. The castle once belonged to the Advents, the royal family who ruled over the kingdom, but has since been, er... "cleaned out" by Myrad and his shadowy pawns since he used a dark spell to possess Kaleb, the prince and wielder of the most powerful magic in the world (yes, even surpassing his own father). You, once a knight in the royal guard, have since set out to free Kaleb from the darkness and expell Myrad back to where he came.
