What if they put Magus from Chrono Trigger as a Secret Boss in KH3? It would be much better than that boring Sephiroth for sure

 

After you beat him Magus would give you some crazy Dark Spells or would upgrade your Elemental Magic to a whole other level

And he gives you Schala's Amulet(to equip it as a ring armor)

And of course Magus' Theme would be playing in the fight(maybe a remix of it)

 

 

Frog then to congratulate you for beating him also gives you the Masamune Sword(or the Masamune Keyblade )...and it has a special ability much like in Chrono Trigger to lower Enemies Magic Defense when hitting them

Of course when Frog gives you the Masamune...Frog's theme would be playing too

I second this. I REALLY want something like this to happen, but it just sadly won't. We have a better chance of Caius or perhaps Jecht making an appearance as an optional boss.

Dangit Square, you have so many good games from the SNES era to use, but they just keep reusing Sephiroth. The day we see Gilgamesh in KH will be when my life is officially complete.

I don't see why not...I mean Magus also kind of fits Kingdom Hearts more than Sephiroth who just looks really out of place in the KH Games IMO

Heck any of the Chrono Trigger characters fit more in line with the KH Characters more than the FF Characters

 

Imagine a Chrono Trigger World in KH...holy shit...they wouldn't be able to cover all that crazy shit Chrono Trigger has to offer but...playing with Lucca and Chrono as your Partners...holy crap

I'm already getting a PS4 for KHIII and Evolve anyway, but Gilgamesh would be the best thing ever, with Shibuya coming in second.

hmm... well Sephiroth is more consistant with the story than Magus, and i don`t think a lot of people would know who that was if they did! I mean, not saying it wouldn`t be cool, but they have someone for that role already.

Are you out of your mind? How the heck is Sephiroth consistent with the Story? Sephiroth isn't even in the Story you can totally ignore him

In KH1 he's an optional boss at the Colosseum,in KH2 he literally looks like he shouldn't even be there and they literally disappear together with Cloud after they fight and doesn't connect at all with the Story...it's more like a Filler Story at best...but not even that

 

I'm sure a lot of people know who Magus is...if you've played Square Enix games...there's a chance you've played Chrono Trigger

Sure he may not be as popular as Emo gentleman Sephy but he's pretty popular in his own right...up there with Kefka

okay i was asking for that! but i still think that since they`ve introduced him in the series they should keep him in just for that reason, as for Magus... you`re probably right, he`s most likely more well know about than i`m aware of. i guess i shouldn`t be commenting on this (i don`t have any idea what this is really about) i`m sorry! i`m a "Sephy" fanboy i guess! my bad!

You should give Chrono Trigger a try btw...it's one of the best games Square has ever made

It's on the Virtual Console,there's a remake/port on the DS(with an extra dungeon,new translation and contains all the animated cutscenes from the PSX Version) etc. it's also on PSN but I wouldn't recommend that version cuz of the loading screens

Anyhow, oh, gosh, I would go bonkers if Magus was introduced to Kingdom Hearts.  As an ally, foe, or cameo, I really wouldn't care, but any appearance of this character, or even anything Chrono Trigger related, would entirely make my day.  I mean, my gosh, The World Ends with you is present within DDD, so why not Chrono Trigger?

A little variety would be better instead of fighting the same boss over and over and over again.

 

Heck personally Jecht would be amazing in the Colosseum,or better yet,how about reintroducing Caius Ballad,remove his XIII trilogy origins and reintroduce him as a new villain?

Sephiroth must appear in Kingdom Hearts III to conclude what has been occurring since Birth by Sleep's ending.

 

I'd love to see someone like Caius or Jecht (considering the likely FINAL FANTASY X-3 is likely to release shortly after it, it would make sense) as an optional boss in Kingdom Hearts III.
