April 13, 201411 yr Honestly, I think Square needs to get its own franchises back on track. Also, I don't think they'd do well with platformers, honestly.

April 13, 201411 yr would the games compare well to the mega man games? do you think Square Enix would be a good holder of the Mega Man name? Problem is,Square didn't make a lot of platforming games and the ones they made were average....Square is RPG specialists but I don't think they'll do Megaman justice in terms of platforming games
April 13, 201411 yr As I mentioned in another topic. Nintendo should buy Megaman franchise. Why? Because they still remembered him, most Megaman games are made for Nintendo consoles and portables, and Capcom don't give a sh!t about the franchise that launched them to stardom.

Because they still remembered him, most Megaman games are made for Nintendo consoles and portables, and Capcom don't give a sh!t about the franchise that launched them to stardom. Also, they're pretty much the only one left that give a shit about the platforming genre aside from Sega,Ubisoft and indie developers....seriously aside from titles from Nintendo,Sega, comcept,Wayforward and Inti-creates and some indie developers, most platforming games began to fade out of existence Edited April 13, 201411 yr by Red Tribal

Meanwhile Nintendo can be te perfect candidate as they've done both RPG and platforms. (Save it for whoever developed Paper Mario RPG-wise since it went downhill.)
