W.... T..... F....

Not sure how to react to this.

Wooohoo!!! Too bad she won't be opening when I go to see the ARTPOP ball in July :/

I'm no fan of Lady Gaga, but this is absolutely awesome.

Wait, not liking Hatsune Miku makes people uncultured? Guess I'm uncultured then. :

No, she's talking about those who dun have and understanding of what Miku is. However, I do believe uncultured is the incorrect word for either situation. Not everyone understands a different nation's culture. They dun even have to understand it.

I can understand worrying about them being judgemental though. Hatsune Miku is a program under the Vocaloid 02 software, not to mention, she's a foreign pop idol and she's opening for Lady Gaga, an English speaking singer whose popularity is among a majority of those who know nothing about Miku, let alone foreign music. Most people would be appalled to see a virtual idol on a stage singing with a computerized voice. Others would believe she's just a cover up for some hideous looking singer, which is a rude thought on its own.

No, that's not what I meant

I mean there are alot of mainstream people who judge Anime, or stuff from other cultures, or anything that doesn't follow the norm, or their norm.

Yeah, saying someone's uncultured just for not understanding one fad is kinda an overreaction. :

No not really

No. There alot of stupid jerks out there say rude comments. They think that just because they don't understand it they can say ''It's stupid''.

Also you are really rude. How dare you assume what I think, you were completely off by the way.

Well, maybe they don't like it for legitimate reasons. That doesn't mean that they're instantly uncultured.

So? I still don't like them, they are so close-minded and rude and judge anyone who is different from them. Or anything thats different from what they like

But ok, go off-topic and defend the rednecks while arguing with me. I don't really care

That's rude on your behalf as well. I dun think just because you have a disagreement with someone makes them uncultured and judgemental. People dun have to understand something just to like it or not liking it. You either like it and want to understand it, or you dun like it, so you give it a pass. It's no big deal, really. Everyone has a free will to speak what the want to. So if someone finds it stupid, they find it stupid. It doesn't make them a redneck (which is rude to call someone for that in the first place) or a rude jerk. I dunno where you get this from, but I've never seen such a problem arise ever.

If they have a legitimate reason for disliking it, they're close-minded still? Okay then...

Yeah maybe in murica it's ok to be discriminatory >_>

I'm not talking about Disagreeing

I hate it when people think they can just talk shit about someone or something that's different or something from another country.

No, if they have legit reason for not liking it, fine. Still doesn't give you the right to be all ''Oh thats so werid wtf lol''

I saw the tweet from Miku's facebook, and laughed soo hard in the comments/reactions. GO MIKU! (bring Rin&Len too!)

If I had the money, I'd just go for her. GO MIKU!!~

I like both Lady Gaga and Hatsune Miku. You got a problem with that?

Not into either of them, but still took me by surprise. I wonder if this could be a start of something... Nah.

People shit on things all the time, whether it be from their country or not. It happens, but it's not a big deal. We ignore people like that. It's not a form of discrimination.

I dun even see how you can have so much to say, when you are doing the same thing you're talking about toward Americans just because most of the tour locations are here. What other reasons are there to be in this situation. That's the thing I hate most here. People shitting on the US. The say America, or even North America, but I know they point the finger straight to the US. Pointing out all these stereotypes, calling us discriminatory assholes who think we're so high and mighty. Truth is, we dun think that at all, we're sick of our bullshit government, we're tired of unnecessary wars, we're done with the economy. We're all in just as much trouble here as is any other country. We're a hypocritical world divided.  This world is full of assholes, racists, sexists, etc. It's not going to change, ever. It's an ever going chain that can't be stopped, and it's best you start learning that.

That's last of anything I'll say here, so dun worry about this thread staying off topic or anything of the sort.

Very well said, agreed. :)

As for the topic in hand, I found the news interesting. But since I don't care for Lady Gaga or Hatsune Miku, I wouldn't pay money to see them.

Part of me does wonder though if this isn't a further publicity stunt by Sega *I mean PD F2nd is releasing later this year*.
