I was thinking that after KH3, Square would introduce new Key- weapons. It sounds kinda dumb but, hey, who knows? There could be Keyaxes, Keyblasters, Keyknives. I don't know, it's something I thought up.

I think that they might stick with the keyblade but who knows know SE is going to do. They just might make a weapon that is not similar to the keyblade at all.

Exactly .It's the signature weapon of the series . Besides keyblades can transform into other badass things too so there is no need .

isn't this what kh3 is doing transforming the keyblade? like soras twin shoot blaster gun thing

id love it transforming into a scythe.. or into the ex-Organization XIII weapons

I dunno... Can't really see that happening, but who knows? Keyguns... I don't really even know what they'd look like. Like keyblade which is a gun instead?

I know quite a few keyblades that would make fine axes. And as other people have stated, keyblade transformations probably will cover the same idea as having other key weapons.

I think they just stick with the Keyblade, it's the main weapon of the series after all.

kingdom hearts chi explained the origins of the keyblade, the keyblade war, and keyblade wielders.. as an introduction to KH3, chi would show at least a hint of that new weapon, that if Nomura really put a new weapon in the game, one that is more important or powerful than the keyblades.. there were even profecies telling that its wielder saved the world or that it wrought chaos and ruin upon it..
