May 18, 201411 yr Author Complex, not Confusing. Most people who barley know anything about the timeline say its confusing.
May 18, 201411 yr Popular Post Most people who barley know anything about the timeline say its confusing. Because they haven't taken the time to understand its complex build.
May 18, 201411 yr Imo OoT's water temple is more confusing than the timeline itself haha. But seriously, the timeline's not that hard to understand, even for an outsider, I would say if they took the time to look into it, they should have a basic understanding of it.
May 18, 201411 yr Author One word to describe the Zelda timeline: Reincarnation. yeah the timeline is basically based off of the reincarnations that has happened in the timeline especially in the fallen hero timeline.

But seriously, the timeline's not that hard to understand, even for an outsider, I would say if they took the time to look into it, they should have a basic understanding of it. As easy as the dungeon is, it's extremely unforgiving if you make even the smallest of mistakes. I almost beat it in 15 minutes, but because I didn't move one little box, it took over a hour...
May 18, 201411 yr Really if you take your time(see what I did there..wink wink nudge nudge),the Zelda timeline is not hard to understand...it's more complex than confusing to be honest heck I had an easier time understanding the Zelda timeline than the plots of MGS and KH if you really want total confusion try to explain a single thing in Evangelion without feeling a headache
May 18, 201411 yr *Finds this topic and thinks of one word* Confusing *goes to topic and sees what you say* Confusing Wow i just thought of you said.
May 18, 201411 yr The timeline is not confusing at all. Once you mess with time travel, you open many different dimensions ("choices"), because time affect space and vice-versa. Just because Adult Zelda transported Link back to the past, doesn't mean that the Adult Zelda era will cease to exist. The third split in the timeline where Link dies/fails is just another of the many different dimensions. There could also be a dimension where Zelda dies instead, but Nintendo might save that for future games. In conclusion, there are infinite time splits created during Ocarina of Time, thanks to Link messing with time travel.
May 19, 201411 yr Thanks to the Hyrule Historia, reading the entire timeline section will give you the most basic understanding of it.
