I actually didn't mind the first movie, it was pretty funny. I'm curious to see how this one turns out.

Well, I did enjoy the first one, I just hope this one either does as well as the original or does even better, but we'll have to see whether it yields to the sequel syndrome or not.

The first one was cute, but the characters were relatively flat, static, and cliché. To reiterate, it was still cute though.

 

Maybe the second movie will give the characters more personality? Either way, imgoing to see the movie because my mother loved the first one. Plus Halloween so woot woot

I heard of this a while back and I can't say I'm excited for it. The first one was dreadful.

 

If only Genndy Tartakovsky wouldn't waste his time directing such nonsense and would try and push for that Samurai Jack film he's been trying to make forever to finally go ahead. But oh well.

Yeah. That film seemed more appropriate for a television series than something on the big screen. The animation was fine, but I think it would have worked better in 2D.

When we watch the credits, we also see the Tartakovsky designs in 2D, and they just feel and look so much better.

Cannot agree more. The designs definitely feel better in 2D, but unfortunately animated films nowadays have to be in 3D to appeal to the kids. For some stupid reason.
