At four points around the mountain known as Evraius the Teragren captains went over the situation once more to be sure there was no confusion; this was a volunteer mission, there was a high risk of death, and once the climbers passed the Teragen gates onto the premises of Evraius they were no longer under the protection of the Teragren army, and nobody would help but the rest of their team members.Of the 19 volunteers that passed the test to be accepted into the Evraius mission there were now four teams, each of 4 or 5 people. The army had brought them to the four gates that separated Evraius from the Kingdom of Teragren. The strategy was that they may be more effective if they could split the Kamyn attention and thus have a better survival rate. Now the four teams sat at their respective gates, facing the world changing mountain that would be their future; Evraius. The teams were split up in the following ways:Gold Team, made up of Drale Vay, Amber Dolor, Cornelius Bastion, and Sandrew.Silver Team, made up of Sonya Bishop, Kinzoku Mors, Averain, and Jasper SummersIron Team, made up of Alice Thornsberry, Emert Berger, Morgan Etiam Vinctum, and Doctor Pellinore WartropPlatinum Team, made up of Apollo, Lance Alburght, Varion Hain, Fairy, Aya Kozakura, Sairi KozakuraEach of the gates rumbled opened painfully and slowly, with a history of destruction and cruelty beyond their metal bars."Okay." Each captain spoke to the respective teams as they mounted their horses once again and steered back toward the road."You all have 5 minutes to greet your new teammates and enter the gates. The magical locks will automatically close them again after that point. There won't be any returning until you have something substantial to return with." The gist of each captain's parting words were. They had all rehearsed together so the information would be similar for each group. It also helped mask the fear.And then each group was left alone, each with a gate and a beaten dirt path beyond it sitting before them. It was time to start the introductions and get going.It was time to start the climb.Watching every gate through spectral projections, Adriev pondered. He stood in a pure white room with 5 others. After watching the four teams for a few moments he turned to his peers: Efenton, Girver, Dante, and Vortimer. Only one was missing."So..." He spoke slowly, weighing every word. "What shall we do about this?"

The earth roared and rumbled as a massive pike of earth rose up and shot for the Kamyn--creating a deep gash in the earth as it rumbled for the God. Varion twirled around and snapped his fingers, pointing at Vortimer. Along with that pike of earth came an explosion of how gas--steam hot enough to flash burn the skin.

"This is Alchemy!" Varion exclaimed, "I can cause the vapor in the air to heat and burst! Shape the earth as I please....so try and get near me!"

 

Emert:

A golem. So that was what the cliff truly was.

Emert raced forward, wielding his swords with both hands as he ran up to the colossal titan. Quickly he rolled forward, and slammed one of the swords down.

"Become rubble!" He shouted, a flash going through the earth as it shot for the golem and blasted at its feet. He rolled to his side and quickly put his weapon together. With quick, sudden movements he flashed his swords out--each slice of his weapons creating a shock wave that cleanly sliced through the golem.

Efenton saw the dragon, and he saw a scratch on the girl riding it. "Unfortunate..." He raised his had and the cut on her hand bigger until the swing was close to completely broken, and was near gushing blood. His father told him to never allow them to fly... Too easy, he said.

Cornelius watched Ferro's interaction with the group from his spot near the mouth of the cave. He stood perfectly still with an intent look on his face. Some experiments required a researcher to take no part in.

Once the conflict was resolved and Drale was inviting Ferro along, Cornelius walked closer to the others.

"I'm surprised that you made it here on your own." The Young Researcher commented to Ferro. "Though, with some of the devices in your possession, it can be better understood. Tell me, where did you get them?"

Cornelius paused as if listening to something.

"Oh dear. Forgot my manners again. I am Cornelius Bastion."

(I don't think I was clear about the dragon Alice has. The dragon is just a shape of a dragon made by fire that is surrounding Alice. There is no actual dragon, just fire formed into one around the person creating the fire. So nothing can actually hurt the fire as fire can't be hurt, only used and put out)

Apollo couldn't conceal is excitement. A smile broke out on his face. He was witnessing his first teammate to truly show their power.

He continued to keep his arrow ready to fly, waiting for the right opportunity.

Wooow... this alchemist it´s quite good indeed. Lance thought as he prepared his spear. But then he noticed the steam and gas coming throught the earth. "Hey don´t take all the fun Varion! he said as with his right hand, he began to move it in spins, each time fast and fast..the air around the spear began to accumulate forming like a cyclone around it.. "Let´s see if the gods can stop the wind." He exclaimed as pointing the spear at Vortimer.

Vortimer jumped in the air to avoid the attacks from the earth and swing his sword for cutting the gas below.As he landing safely thanks to his red cape on his back,he immediately deflect the spear that has been pointing out."Sad to say,you gonna need a lot more effort on that..."Vortimer said as he handle it so easy...

As soon as Vortimer's feet touched the ground, Apollo loosed his arrow. Before it could even reach it's target, he had whipped out a new arrow while simultaneously jumping back a few feet.

 

"It's you who will need to exhibit more effort, Kamyn. We're just getting started." He addressed Vortimer in a sure but unconceited manner.

The Doctor's Ciful was luckily quite quick-thinking, and changed courses sharply, avoiding the hand. The Doctor and his monster hovered in the air for a little bit as Warthrop looked on in awe of the golem. "Vivo Lapis..." He muttered, clearly amazed. He had heard that this mountain was home to some wonderful creatures, but a Vivo Lapis, something so rare it was normally only found in ancient legends. And this was only the first stop! The Doctor wanted to study the creature for a few days, maybe weeks, so as to fully understand the species, but unfortunately, that was not in the job description. And if Alice found out he wasn't doing the job, who knows what she might do to him. Unfortunately for the Vivo Lapis, the Doctor would have to help kill it. The Ciful flew back over to the golem, stopping over the arm. The Doctor jumped off, desummoned the Ciful, and summoned his spear. He held it loosely, like a hunter as opposed to the more commonly used soldier's grip. The Monstrumologist ran across the arm, towards the head. Warthrop thought back on all of the legends he had heard of Vivo Lapis, most concluded that here was no way to kill it, but a few said that only in places where there is a natural hole in it's rocky skin already could you harm the beast. The nose, the eye, the mouth, the ear, and a few other unmentionables. The Doctor reached the ear, and tried to think of the most effective way to kill it. Stabbing the Vivo Lapis with his spear would doubtfully do anything. However, if he applied another condition to that plan... Yes, it might work! The Doctor put on his gloves, opened his book, and the spear disappeared, to be replaced by a large spider, that sat on the golem's shoulder next to him. The Doctor smiled, took a vial out of his bag, and milked some poison out of the Jorogumo's fangs. He then quickly replaced the spider with the spear again, poured the vial over the point. Now the spear was coated in the most effective poison that anybody in the world could find. The Doctor jabbed the spear right into the ear hole, as deep as he could go, making sure to stab into the flesh inside, and not the rock protecting it.

Kinzoku smiled at Sanya, and kept going towards the house. "Alright." She said to the flying girl. Kinzoku then saw the door to the house open up. Great. The house was probably haunted. Unfortunately, there was literally nowhere else to go. From her time at the academy, Kinzoku had learned to sense traces of magic quite easily, almost like a dog's sense of smell. There was barrier magic at play here for sure. "Come on! Door's open, so we surely shouldn't leave our host waiting!" Kinzoku joked, before dashing into the house, inside which she saw...

Landing, Wolf ears and a tail appeared. With her enhanced strength she grabbed the back of Kinzoku's shirt and yanked her back.

"Never run headlong into darkness. You could loose your head or be bisected. Neither of which is enjoyable."

Keeping a firm grip, she breathed in, cataloging the smells of the building.

"Checking the place using smell. Will say if it is safe or not."

Fairy finished her apple seemly bored."Try effect spells,you need to cause a weakness that can be hit!" She shouted out helpful advice as she tossed the apple core to the ground.

(Also for now,my character can really fight,so maybe later someone can teach her.)

Alice was in pain by the cut that she was given. She wanted to scream out in pain, but she knew that a girl like her never could. All she had was the fire healing methods she had learned. "Fire heal this cut, make my skin reverse to what once was." Alice said as fire ran through her veins and healed the cut. She then realized that she was no longer in dragon mode, but rather on the rocky ground. She then got up and stood there looking around. She knew that a simple human couldn't have given her such a cut. Now she was in anger, and if you think her normal attitude is bad, then this person who hurt her will be in living hell. She then focused back on the Golem and noticed what the doctor had done. Alice made a purple fireball appear and sent it flying at the Golem's mouth. Purple fireballs were the most deadly of all fireballs, except for the white ones, which she didn't know how to pull off. "I don't have time for your nonsense creature! I have to find the one who just hurt me ever so badly and kill them using my bare hands." Alice screamed out at the monster, and loud enough the person who attacked her could hear her as well.

Amber

"Um, I'm Amber, it's nice to meet you, Ferro." Amber said, contemplating if their new traveling companion was possibly a Kamyn. Either way, it seemed the best course of action would be to just let him tag along, and study his actions. Maybe later she'd or someone else would be able to figure it out. "So... should we get moving?" she asked, glancing at the mysterious cave.

 

Jasper

"Good idea, but I've got a pretty crummy sense of smell. You're the animal girl, you smell anything dangerous." Jasper said to Sanya. He didn't think smelling for danger would do much good, they already knew there was danger inside, after all, but if it would help calm one of his teammates down, it was worth a shot.

And the pretty lady on my back is Birgitte, my blade staff." "You own no part of me! I refuse to be reduced to a mere possession!" Birgitte spat out indignantly. "Well, seeing as you can't move by yourself, I don't know if I would consider you anything else." Vell cut in, with a wicked cackle for could measure. Birgitte huffed and fell silent. Ferro just rolled his eyes, as if this happened at least once a day. "Well, I guess we should get going." he said. He turned and began leading the group towards the cave mouth. Chips yelled, "Adventure!"

"My my don't we have a cast of characters!" Ryu laughed. He could see everything that was happening as he sat on a thundercloud. "An alchemist.. That's different. He might actually be the strongest of these weaklings. I hope he gets to me so I can test him myself," Ryu said to himself. He then looked down to his side a little and saw himself looming over a battle between a golem and a girl wrapped up in fire. "Oh yeah, that's the one who is crazed obsessed with ending this battle," Ryu sighed. His sudden relaxation caused another violent bolt of lightning to crash down between the golem and Alice. "Oops. My bad!" Ryu said to himself. Ryu became wrapped up in his thoughts once again. His only mission now was to take out that alchemist... permanently

Iron

The Golem cried out as Alice's flames struck it's face. As it moved it's hand shield it's eyes it's leg shattered from Emert's attack. Then there was the Doctor's spear strike. As it's conciousness wavered, it made it's concluding move. It began to tumble forward without balance or focus, but it moved to land directly on Emert in it's fall, and as it fell it brought both it's hands over the Doctor, enclosing him as it fell so that it might try to take both Emert and the Doctor with it. The ground drew closer and closer... Then...

 

Crash.

"Excelsior!" Drale exclaims, always ready for a fight. "I suppose you realize this is a trap, right? We just have no choice but to enter the cave." After saying this, he picks up his shadow and molds it into a sword, but only for a few moments. "Best think about shadow manipulation, it lets me see in the dark." Said Drale, now ready to enter the cave.
