Okay, so in DDD what killed me to see was how Sora, at the ending, how confused he was and how much information he was consuming at once, on top of it seeing him fade into sleep. He was struggling and you can tell that everything he was told, was hard for him to grasp a hold of. Sora really never was one of my favorite character's till DDD. But I totally felt bad for Sora. I know he probably understood, but how much was he able too at that state of mind? Just seeing him struggle like that in DDD actually made me upset for some reason. I've never really got emotional with much of Sora's scenes in KH, in till the scene's at the end of DDD.

When Riku was talking to Ansem the Wise in Sora's heart, dream, memory, whatever or wherever he was. It actually opened up my eyes to Sora. I actually started loving Sora's character, so yeah...

Sorry I ramble waaaay to much. And this post probably had no point, but I had to put my mind/opinion somewhere. :P

Sora's my favorite character too. His gamut of emotions, especially in Kingdom Hearts I, II, and DDD never ceased to make me think about myself. Sora evolved from such a dark state, to someone who was determined (at the end of DDD, and hopefully in KH3). And his friends mean so much to him... It makes me think back,,,

I agree. Sora, in my mind, has always been the typical goofy protagonist who never really had too much depth to his character other than being the good guy and the guy who loves friendship and all that. Even so, I've always taken note of all the physical and mental challenges he's been given over the course of the series and I admire the character for how he overcame those challenges and how it has helped him improve as a person by doing so.

I agree, Sora's character was great in DDD. I also love how you can see that he rubbed off on Riku (who went from least favorite to most favorite character after DDD)

Riku has been my favorite from the very beginning. I have seen him change a bit from the previous game. Which is an excellent change. But Yeah, I agree. You can tell that Sora has rubbed off on Riku a bit since KH2

Sora has steadily grown up in the time we've known him.  We've seen him be naive to becoming a more conscious and determined young man.  He's faced loads of challenges, and he's overcome many trials, and he's saved the worlds numerous times!  Sora's character growth in DDD really impressed me, since he had such strength of heart and willpower and sheer determination to stop Xemnas and the Organization, and well, his struggle in DDD was a great one.  Sora is amazing, and a hell of a character.  Riku is my all time favorite though. xP

Uh , Sora has always been the reason for people to blubber .   xD

I agree with you, Riku in DDD has finally reached the complete control of Darkness.

Mayby Sora wasn't meant to be a Keyblade Master on a sidegame.

Oh when he remembers Aqua and talks to Roxas. I was so happy that finally happened I was yelling while watching. "OH MY GAWD!"

Sora is what connects Kingdom Hearts to Disney. Sora and Riku are from different extremes and they counterbalance the seriousness of the franchise. Sora, Donald, and Goofy has great chemistry and that bond between the trio is what made us love the series. He may be naïve and childish, but that is his strength and it greatly reflects his choices and decisions that has saved the worlds in the events of KH1 and KH2.

In DDD, his character has grown in full circle. His struggle and confusion is the nail-bitter to what keeps us on edge. It shows how much we care about Sora and how it will suck if he were to die. I'm a huge Riku fan, but Sora is what makes Riku such a great character

Is it just me or did Sora feel a little bit more naive and goofy in this game compared to Kingdom Hearts 2? I mean I still loved him in this game but he almost seemed a little too perfect.

I'm still upset that he didn't become a Keyblade Master
