I want to state that, personally, I am wholeheartedly against this. Marvel because the setting (modern day New York) is too realistic (At least Port Royal was set in the 1800, giving it a more fantasy like feeling), and SW because the two stories are already so similar that it'd just feel like they're beating us over the head with it.  But for those who support this I would like to hear something, Only one movie from each franchise can make it into KH 3 So, which one from each would you like to see? And yes, it is limited to movies, I highly doubt they'll use a comic book for a world. So that only give us movies meaning the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

 

So, one Star Wars movie and one movie from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

I'd start with Episode IV. It's the most simple and you really don't have to involve the entire Star Wars galaxy with it. Focus on the Death Star and you're crystal. 

 

As for Marvel, I can't really see it taking cues from the MCU. If they do include it, I'm expecting more akin to the Disney Infinity style where they can use Spider-Man and Wolverine. I'm not really expecting Marvel to show up, anyway. Star Wars is more likely, if still a slim chance.

I don't "want" a Star Wars world in Kingdom Hearts III simply because I only want to see classic Disney worlds, and in the new saga open up to series like this, Though, I can see Star Wars coming into it, and the only one I think would/could possibly work is if it were Star Wars Episode VI.

out of the two of them, i  really really don't think Marvel is going to have its turn in the spotlight in the kh series. As for SW, that one is the one most likely going to appear. I've made a comment about the two franchises and about why i don't want them in kh, but if they are going to be a playable or mentioned world or become a part of the lore of KH then i hope that they'll appear LATER. AFTER KH3 and whatnot. because other than Episode IV of SW, I don't think KH is ready for the huge contrast of Marvel and SW yet.

Asgard from the Thor movies. The mythical settings that are non-Earth based would work well imo.

 

Future movies that could work: Doctor Strange, Guardians of the Galaxy, Big Hero 6 (being developed by Disney Studios).

 

I don't have any opinion on Star Wars.

As I have said many times before regarding this topic, I believe that Thor would be the only Marvel property that would fit well within the Kingdom Hearts universe since it has a fantasy setting, and it's in Asgard, so preferably we'd see Asgard with the plot of The Dark World.  I personally think it would fit.  And as for Star Wars, I can only see it in KH in cameo form.  For example, a Keyblade that resembles something from Star Wars strongly.  You know, things like that.  (Although the Keyblade you get from defeating Young Xehanort in BBS is Star Wars-esque, lol. )

Yeah.

Star Wars and Kingdom Hearts have stuff in common,but they are not so similar to the point that it wouldn't make sense to have them in the same game.They have different settings and the characters have different personallities and ideals and mixing them together could work really well.As for the one movie I'd chose, I'd go with Episode IV,it would make sense,Sora would get to know Luke just like we got to know him when we watch EPIV and Sora in Space is nothing new.The setting of the original movies would make more sense then the prequels,so no Episode I,II or III for KH,the force would fit better then the midichlorian,the politics and the clone wars or whatever. Star Wars EPIV is a great magical movie with good moral messages just like the Disney movies and I may be in the minority here,but I don't care for Disney in general,I don't play KH games to explore the Disney worlds and seeing Sora interact with the Disney character.I play KH for the gameplay and the Final Fantasy stuff,so for me having a world that I grew up with and care about in KH would be nice.

 

As for Marvel,I don't know much about them,so I don't really know how their stuff could be implimented into KH,but I'm not against it being in KH. Maybe the fan favorite could be in worlds like Traverse Town or Hollow Bastion or maybe they could be optional bosses(Fighting the Avengers could be pretty cool lol,but that's not gonna happen of course.)
