Yet Another Star Wars Post. Sue Me

I know most people are like "NEVER PUT STAR WARS or Marvel IN MY KH!!!" and while I agree with the Marvel complaints (for many reasons), Star Wars would be so perfect for Kingdom Hearts. If you think it doesn't, please read the arguments i made towards many complaints i hear about Star wars below with an open mind. I understand many people still don't like the idea, but i firmly believe it will work.

1) Doesn't have the "Kingdom Hearts Feel"

This is just plain untrue. sure when most people think of KH worlds they think of "Classic Disney films". but as we all know, over the years, the series have proven they can handle newer movies too. I First watched "Pirates of the Caribbean"  in 2012. way after I played KH2. and to be honest even after playing it, when i watched the movie, it didn't give me a KH vibe at all. far from. but as we know, Pirates was a very good fit in Kingdom hearts 2. even with the whole live action vs cartoony thing. When I watch star wars, and think kingdom hearts it works SOOOOOOO well. (Lightsabers, keyblade, Jedi, sith, SoD, GoL, gummi ships, etc) we all know live action isn't a problem with KH (The Grid looked amzing in 3D) and on a ps4, itll look so much better.

 

2) Might ruin the movie

  as you may be aware of, Nomura loves Star Wars. some may say KH has many star war themes in it already (BBS) but nomura likes to keep true to the movies. and you cant argue that if star wars were in KH3, he would do it justice. he wouldn't ruin a movie he cares for very much.

 

3)Violence

  please. xemnas wailed on sora and riku with his lasers. and pirates have shot sora with shotguns. storm troopers wont be an issue (how great would it be to fight storm troopers?) and fighting Vader, keyblade (or light saber keyblade) to light saber would be fun and epic. like captain hook but with the force. man it would be awesome. only issue i see is the whole cutting off of the arm. but i think they can work around it. actually, i think we would start at "empire strikes back" but who knows.

 

4) Voice Actors

  We all know that thanks to Disney, this wont be a problem. Nomura wouldn't let them hurt the images of the characters.

 

so... yeah it'll work, and it'll be great if it makes it too KH3.(if family guy, robot chicken, Phineas and Ferb, and angry birds made it work, Kingdom Hearts 3 will be just fine)

I agree with your arguments and think Star Wars could work in KH, if done well. Doing it well would be difficult in my mind, but might be worth it.

My thing is that Star Wars is too similar to Kingdom Hearts so having SW in KH would feel redundant.

I actually have a problem with the 2 argument. If Star Wars would be in Kingdom Hearts 3 than which Star Wars movie would be in Kingdom Hearts 3? My main thing is that Star Wars movies are like two and a half hours long, so how much story could fit in the Kingdom Hearts 3 storyline. Like Pirates of the Caribbean for example, The Curse of the Black Pearl is like two hours and twenty minutes, and in Kingdom Hearts 2 they cut a lot stuff from the movie to make it short for the game. You see what I'm saying?
