July 17, 201411 yr Xemnas was looking for ventus, because the body of ventus is empty atm, so it will perfect for the 13th vessel that he needs. And he calls aqua friend because she save him from falling into the realm of darkness (since she wanted to save terra). But he is been sarcastic.
July 17, 201411 yr Well Ansem was born from Xehanort's heart (which is why he looks more like him), but Xemnas was born from the body that Xehanort stole, that being Terra's. Xemans still shared Xehanort's ambitions, but I guess he was "distracted" by the lingering bonds that remained within Terra's body, as pieces of Terra probably still remained within Xemnas. What's interesting is that a lot of the time Xemnas tries to appear like he's empathetic towards others, while empathy was an actual trait of Terra. I think between Xemnas and Ansem, Xemnas is probably the most confused about who he is...though not by much. He's still Xehanort, just with a little bit more Terra mixed in. Xehanort as an apprentice was a confused and conflicted individual because he had two hearts battling for dominance, not to mention that pesky amnesia to deal with...if it was real at all...anyway, apprentice Xehanort/Terranort was the body that Xemnas directly came from, and since Xehanort was confused about who he was, Xemnas was a little closer to figuring that out, as bits of Terra were a little easier to notice. However, it's clear that Xehanort's ambitions were stronger. So basically, Xemnas is Xehanort's Nobody with a bit of Terra spliced in there, making him more complex, but ultimately still an extension of Xehanort.
July 17, 201411 yr What if he actually knew Sora would defeat him and knew MX would return, and what if he tried to get to the Chamber of Awakening (Is it awakening?) and move Ventus from that place so when MX returns he finds him, awakes him and forges the X-blade?
July 17, 201411 yr Fool. He wasn't actually saying she was his friend. He was just being evil. Xemnas was looking for ventus, because the body of ventus is empty atm, so it will perfect for the 13th vessel that he needs. Either way, there seems to be slightly more depth towards Xemnas than Ansem, in my opinion anyway.
July 17, 201411 yr It's mentioned Xemnas goes down their frequently to "talk" for long periods of time to Aqua's armour, it might be due to Terra's influence.
July 17, 201411 yr As others have pointed out, he wanted Ven as the 13th vessel and calling Aqua a friend is a result of Terra's memories of their relationship, though with Xehanort begin in control he was probably just being a dick basically saying "Ha ha I stole your friend's body" Edited July 17, 201411 yr by Isamu_Kuno

Well i think they will be smart enough to return ventus heart inside the chamber (wich aqua is the only one that knows how to get there ) ... Or they will be like "oh we must get the body to yen sid cuz , yeah we need to do that" and when they get out of CO xehanort vessels apprs to stole empty ventus body e.e. But i think they must do it on the chamber, thats why sora will go look for the keyblade to return hearts.
July 19, 201411 yr Well for all we know he's not after Ven. In fact I don't think he is after Ven at all. For staters how would he even know that Ven was in the chamber? Plus he never mentions wanting Ven he mentions wanting to find the chamber. He's probably just looking for the chamber because it hold secrets or something.

July 29, 201411 yr He wanted ventus to be one of the vessel for the organization 13 and he was being sarcastic towards aqua's armor when he said friend to it. Bottom line xemnas is mean
