does anybody like the kingdom hearts 3 graphics?

Posted

i know everyone is excited for kh3 and im one of them, but theres one thing i'm disapointed in. the graphics! i know they said they had to change the grahpics for kh3 to be on the ps4. (which is probably why they will not make kh 2.5 on ps4, but i might be wrong.) but i have to tell u the graphics look amazing! but i just miss the old graphics. what do u think?

They're only beta. It's going to look A LOT better next time we see it.

^What (*checks gender*) he said. I mean if it looks that good now i can't imagine what the game would look like when completed.

i don't really think it's fair to judge it just yet all things considered but i do really like it. The kingdom hearts series has always had a great aesthetic, it's what makes the games look good no matter what platform they're on and what makes them look good even today, some games even being ahead of their time. So i really hope that the kh3 aesthetic can carry on that, and i think it can.

i love them. sure, the coloring is a bit crappy (im talking to YOU NOT SHINY KEYBLADE) But the graphics...i love it. it's a nice transition. But since it's a work in progress, it's definitely going to improve.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks this.  I know it'll look better in the end, but from what they showed us so far, it just looks weird and so much different from previous games.  I really would've liked something like KH2.5 graphics, but improved for PS4.  If not, then it's something we're going to have to get used to

The new graphics are certainly different but I'm sure they are going to look awesome, especially if they can pull off the styles of the disney worlds well

Here's hoping for a return to Timeless River in KHIII just to see how it looks with the new engine  :O

Also keyblade armor + Kingdom Shader = amazing

This makes no sense at all. For one KH3's graphics have yet to be seen, secondly "they said they had to change the grahpics for kh3 to be on the ps4. (which is probably why they will not make kh 2.5 on ps4, but i might be wrong.)" I don't even know what this means, I'm just assuming it makes no sense.

The graphics already look stunning, and it will only get better since the game is still decently early in development. Nomura even stated himself that it is not the final graphic product and that they'll be bumped up drastically, so that's something to look forward too ;)

Peace!

I luv the new graphics

I find it strange that it has been said that the game is still early in development.  Hasn't the game been worked on since 2010?  If this is the case, I'm surprised the development team isn't further along.  As for the graphics, I think they look stunning so far despite being cartoonish.  After all, the series has always been known for its cartoonish aesthetic and it has worked very well.  If what we saw in the reveal trailer was very early footage and not fully representative of the game, I think we will all be in for a real treat when the final product is unveiled.  The bottom line: Kingdom Hearts III just can't be released soon enough!

It's not like the art style has really changed. They changed the lighting techniques and detail so far.

It looks wonderful, nonetheless.
