The THEATRHYTHM FINAL FANTASY CURTAIN CALL demo is now available on the Nintendo eShop worldwide.

 

The demo will feature two songs – J-E-N-O-V-A (FINAL FANTASY® VII: ADVENT CHILDREN®) and Edgar and Sabin’s Theme (FINAL FANTASY® VI) that can be replayed up to 30 times. Additionally, players that download the demo will automatically have more characters unlocked when playing the game at launch.

I'm already playing the demo, gives me a good idea on how much I'd actually enjoy it. It's pretty fun...if you use Stylus mode. Button Mode's pretty lame. The only problem with using the stylus is that your hand will probably be lower on the stylus by the end of a song that you'll be uncomfortable and need to fix it, which can break your chain.. I'll probably pick it up after it's initial release.

Just played both songs. S ranked Edgar and Sabin's theme, and A ranked J-E-N-O-V-A. Geez, I'm getting rusty. Guess that's what I get for selling the first game. It was fun, but I wish they had more songs. Oh well. I'll get this at some point, just not sure when. Not worth pre-ordering in my opinion, but definitely a game I'm looking forward to.

 

Also, advice for everyone: Button mode isn't worth it. It's really awkward. Just stick to the stylus.

I S ranked Expert Scores for both, but perfected Edgar and Sabin on Basic (how I knew I didn't need to play basic scores). 

 

I agree with you on both the preorder option and Button mode. Why drop one simple control for several buttons and the circle pad? Though I do enjoy the hybrid of stulus tapping and sliding, and circle pad for arrows.

Played and beat both songs on Ultimate. The demo was ok I guess. It's really just more Theatrhythm though. I think the songs they picked for the first games demo were more enjoyable but overall it wasn't too bad. I like that they've cleaned up the visuals for the new game, it's far more sleek this time around that's for sure.

Downloading it right now. Can't wait to try it out.

So I SSS on Edgar and Sabins Theme and SS on Je-No-Va (AC Version) this game is pretty fun not good at it but I guess it takes practice.

I spent a decent amount of time in the first, so I can do most songs in Ultimate. I don't S rank most of the BMS levels, though.

It's just irritating how it's set up as Ridiculously Easy, Relatively Easy, and Almost Impossible Hard.  There's not really much that can set you up for that, notjing that gives you an idea. Like there's no in between difficulty that can prepare you.
