I wonder if you will be able to see the difference between the 720p and 1080p versions.

Are there any new features or just the PS3 version on PS4

Just PS4 specific features such as Share and Remote Play. They won't be doing anything other than remastering it in 1080p.

Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster will be priced at U.S $49.99.

3 has more games at the moment, but from here on all the major releases are coming to PS4. There's a good chance of 1.5 and 2.5 coming to PS4, but it's way too soon to say for sure with 2.5 being released not even 2 weeks ago.

No NA release date?

Spring 2015 is all we've got.

What a joke $10 more and it's gonna be a straight up port too with minimal changes.

Still no 1.5 2.5 Remix for PS4?Come onnnn.I still haven't decided if I should get a PS3 or 4 for Christmas. And I have to decide now because I need to give my parents my Christmas list

You're better off getting a PS4 so you don't miss out on KH3.

And as for this thread. Meh, it's great that Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD is coming to PS4 but I'll just stick to my PS3 copy. Don't see the point in buying the same games twice, and with it being $50.00 which is $10.00 more than the original PS3 price of the remaster.

That's outrageous. The game will be nearly 14 years old by the time this is released.

$50.00 is a rip off. This is where I put my foot down.

Yeah, I don't think it should cost that much since this is just a port of the PS3 HD remastered version.

I think it should be $24.99. I could even deal with $29.99, but $49.99 is ridiculous. They may have just killed the games chance of selling well.

That, and the fact that the game's already available on PS2, PS3, and Vita. I can't see much people buying it again on PS4.

FF is huge, PS2 is obsolete, PS3 is getting old, vita isn't very popular. So many die hard fans would if wasn't outrageously priced I believe.

The original port plummeted in price really quickly, why make the price even higher and force the price down even faster when you could sell it for less and keep the price high for a bit longer

That's an absolute rip-off considering the fact they're changing nothing with the Ps4 version

Not to mention that the Ps3 version is much cheaper as of now so what's the point of porting it?

$50.00 just for 1080p?No thanks Square Enix

Maybe but 50$ is waaaay too much

And Sony should've included backward compatibility with the Ps4 from the get go so people won't have to go through something like this.

Ill still buy them. call me a sucker.

They couldn't though, the hardware is far too different.

$24.99? Bahahaha. In your dreams.

29.99 isn't that crazy given the circumstances, honestly

and they could have, but why spend money on something that ultimately loses Sony money?

Square Enix wouldn't release a PS4 game in a physical package and charge $24.99.

They wouldn't.

They wouldn't.

they could

they didn't

but it's not impossible

I'll be skipping out on this since I don't like either one of the games in the collection, but honestly, the price is absolutely ridiculous. I'm getting tired of this "We need to re-release a PS3 game on PS4 a year after it came out." thing that Sony's been doing for a while now. Sure, they say that it's to let PS4 owners who didn't have a PS3 play these games, but honestly, they should be focusing their resources on, I don't know, making the PS4 stand out to PS3 owners who are still on the fence. Selling them at full price (Especially for this one, considering it's a port of a remaster) doesn't make this look any better, either.

Steam version would be dream come true :).
