A (translated) scan has new information on the upcoming Boruto movie. The scan spotlights new villains Momoshiki and Kinoshiki and reveals that their intentions are to steal Kurama away from Naruto.

Alright, I had a feeling that was it.

 

Why does it feel like I'm the only who still watch the original Naruto? Everyone talks about Shippuden now.

There have been quite a few people on this site who talk about how much Shippuden sucks and the original is better. The poll on the thread pretty much came as a result of that. If anything, Shippuden is the one of the two that gets the most negative reception. There are only a couple of us on this site who really discuss the series anymore.

 

Either way, they're both Naruto. Only the anime split them into two separate series. I don't see the point in arguing which is better. Not to mention there's much more than Shippuden that takes place after the original series.

More Boruto scans rolled in today in the recent issue of V-Jump. First, we have this promotional poster featuring Boruto, Sarada, and Naruto. Nothing special really, but it's still a nice poster:

 

 

But next, we have a scan that actually does have some new info! The scan reveals the names of the two characters featured a while back: Shinki (Kankuro's son) and Yurui (Killer B's son). There is also a recap of other info plus a special message from Boruto's VA Sanpei Yuuko.

 

I was watching this filler, ep 311 and I always adore those types of filler. Laid back, all the characters are just sort of goofing off and being silly and friendly. I loved it, it's sad at the end though when Naruto's home is empty after his squad leave

The moments I chose were just heartfelt ones, Naruto has like 800+ episodes if you add part one and two together. It would be difficult as heck to narrow 5 down moments from like 840 episodes. Remembering them is a task itself. You guys reminded of a few

And when he forms his own team, that was cool as hell.

And when he invades the kage summit like its nothing. The dude doesn't care about anything

Oh and when he kills Karin with no remorse. That was hillarious.

Just finished it in 1080p goodness, I loved it, 9/10 BUT

A little more Sasuke would have been good. I kept waiting for him to show up in the final fight but he never did. I did enjoy it when saved the village though.

I found it a little sad when he wasn't at the wedding too . Naruto would have wanted him there

According to this article, Naruto creator Mashashi Kishimoto was asked about making more Naruto films in order to continue the story of the franchise and his response was that he wants to rest.

 

I think he deserves to, as well. Naruto has been running for a long time and the author has rarely ever taken breaks and is always shown to be a workaholic. Now that Naruto is over (or is going to be over), I think Mr. Kishimoto deserves to rest before pursuing anything else in the manga business, especially since he certainly sounds like he needs it.

No, it doesn't. If Studio Pierrot wishes to adapt that, I'm sure it's doable. But at this least point, it's a bit of a stretch.

In conjunction with the release of Boruto The Movie, a manga one-shot featuring Boruto and his team was given to fans who saw the movie in Japan. The one-shot has been translated and can be read here.

 

 

Well, that was short. But hey, it was entertaining. There wasn't much that happened so I'll just point the things I liked best: 

 

- Confirming that Konohamaru's parents were ANBU

- More teases to Mitsuki's parents

- The joke/reference that Mitsuki's dad might be Monkey D. Luffy from One Piece.

- Boruto's four way Sexy Jutsu

- Sarada doing her best Tenten impression

- The Bell Test in general.

The release date of Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 has been pushed back, it was supposedly September 15th I think. It's releasing in Japan in February (the 4th I think) but no news on a western release date. Probably summer 2016.
