I've been toying around with this idea for a while, basically the idea is to talk about KH I, like if your replaying it, beat the game again, playing for the first time, have accomplishments you wanna talk about instead of arbitrarily posting threads.

 

If you're not sure what I mean heres where I got the idea http://mgsforums.com/topic/7372648/1/. It works fantastically there and it has a tonne of potential here. I guess you could compare this thread to a Twitter/Thread hybrid of KH I discussion.

 

Soooooooooooooooo, just yesterday I started playing through it again, I havent played in such a while its like theres a feeling of playing it for the first time again. Im already at Traverse Town and just beat Leon (I miss David Boreanaz as Leon) and if I keep it up I might beat Deep Jungle by the end of the day.

 

How bout any else?

Beat the game a week or two ago. Got Ultima Weapon, beat Kurt Zisa, Phantom, Ice titan, and Sephiroth. Not I am watching my little brother try to play the game. Lol.

I'm still on the final boss. I've been playing the last couple battles over and over again for, like, a year and I just can't win. D; (And I'm playing on freaking beginner mode.)

what do you have trouble on in the final boss cause it took me one time to beat him

A little pointer for those who want to level up fast...

You know that trick for Destiny Islands with the Tidus = Tech Points supreme?

I found something better.

After you arrive at the island during the storm and talk to Riku, obtaining the Keyblade?

Do NOT go directly to the Secret Place.

Go into the shack, save, then emerge.

There are exactly ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY FIVE Shadow Heartless spread around the area.

Fight them all, running all around the island... EXCEPT THE SECRET PLACE... if you want to keep leveling up? Just fight, re-enter the shack, save again, re-emerge.

 

I got from level 4? To level 15, doing this.... before I even fought Darkside.

Yes, I learned Scan and Combo Boost before I got Dodge Roll, which is supposedly the "First" Ability you get in the game...

Actually, each Shadow heartless there only takes one-two hits from the keyblade at that point in time... so, taking out all 125 of them only takes about... five minutes.

Thats not bad.

I remembered that whenever you got to traverse town goofy was always a couple levels ahead of me so at destiny Islands I leveled up to 22 by reflecting Wakka's attacks. Then when I got to traverse town I was so disappointed to find out that goofy would always be a couple levels ahead. No way am I going to do that again! The leveling up with the shadows sounds so much easier RoxSoxkh.

 

Also I leveled up to a hundred from 85 or so by beating Sephiroth. Good times

Well, I can get past him the first time (on the fake Destiny Islands) while Donald and Goofy are helping me, but the second time (in the huge crater thing) while I'm alone I just can't get him. It's mostly that stupid attack where he zings at you from a corner of the crater and hits you that almost always gets me.

I have a game guide, but it's really not helping me at all. Stupid guide...it's the worst $20 I've ever wasted.

Just get your timing right so you dodge roll in synch before he hits ya.

well that part requires you to block, if you were talking about when he rushes at you and there is a blue energy surrounding him, you need to block, and it will give you tech points ( ), but if you cant do that, try dodge rolling, and remember that if you choose the shield at the beginning, the guard ability is more effective (it apparently lasts longer, ive never actually done it, so i wouldn't know :|

No problem man!

Just remember, dont limit yourself to where you can go around the islands... the shadows are everywhere... exactly 125 of them spawn each time you re-emerge from the sea-side shack.

Not to mention, the little things practically spew Potions, so you'll have like 50 before you even get to Traverse town

i find it depressing that i still haven't beaten sephiroth, maybe its the absurd combo system, or maybe the kh2 combo system was too easy? either way i find him very difficult, maybe im just either not skilled enough or i just am not at a high enough level

I got lucky on my last playthrough at Hollow Bastion fighting up there I did everything I could to use Strike Raid as much and sparingly as possible, otherwise one stray strike to a Wyvern could cost my up to ten minutes.

I believe for me beating ursula, pot spider, sora's shadow (neverland), dragon maleficent (took me a couple days to realize what tinkerbell is actually for), Riku (possessed), Behemoth and that gargoyle at the end of the world, oh and also that lizard in deep jungle. not to mention: sephiroth, kurt ziza, phantom, ice titan <--------------hard!!!!!!!!

Finished Never Land yesterday for my Proud Mode play through. I'm getting close to beating the game

OMG Sephiroth is like impossible! Anyone have any tips? I've beaten every other optional boss, and I've beaten Ansem several times just for the fun of it it was so easy, but sephiroth I can't even get one hit in! What's wrong with me? lol
