Next Kingdom Hearts Game(s) theories

Posted

Ever since I finished Kingdom hearts 3D I always wanted a Kingdom hearts 3D Final Mix. If they were to re-release 3D it would be perfect if they could make a Kingdom hearts 3D final mix hd or re:3d or something like that. I do think releasing it in a bundle would be great too. Maybe with 2 new games? But what would those games be? I was thinking Birth by Sleep volume 2 or a full on 3d kingdom  hearts x:chiRemake.Birth by Sleep volume 2 has been wanted for a while ever since the secret movie in bbs final mix and I think a full 3D x chi remake would be amazing. The only problem about all this is that its 2 new games which would take a hell load of time away from kingdom hearts 3......But if this collection never happens and nomura decides to import 1.5 and 2.5 on the ps4 or xbox one i say he just makes a giant kingdom hearts collection with 3d Final mix HD in the collection and he just makes bbsv2 seperate or something. What do you guys think?

I don't know how I would feel about a Final Mix of 3D.

my though is that DDD is in version cutscenes only inside KH3 like a prologue for the one who don't have played the game.

it could be cool with another game, like BBS2 but i don't think is going to be ready to release soon.. is more probably KHX or with the cutscene important only (the ones regard the prophet, foretellers, etc....) or maybe playable with some differences :D

BbSV2's story willbe told one day. As for KH3D, that might be a remake with more content or something completely different.

I feel like it's rather pointless to make a Final Mix version of 3D, it just doesn't seem necessary to me.  KHBBS, 1 and 2 got them, but they're considered quite important to the story line (with BBS being considered Kingdom Hearts 0).  But I would have thought DDD, Days and Coded remastered and playable on the Wii U would have been good.  All the Nintendo KH games on a new Nintendo console, upscaled with better quality and actually playable, and they can utilize the gamepad for the touchscreen functions.  But I'm completely happy to wait for KH3 even longer, other's will yap.

There was only 2 games I wanted to see and that was Mickey's Journey (BBS V2, though Nomura's said in an interview you get Mickey's side in Coded) and a game following Kairi as the protagonist, we see her training in a alternate dimension (like Axel) so time flows normal while playing but at the end it's like an hour only passed, she explores a version of sleeping worlds or data worlds, we build her up, she gets development and then she's all prepped with appropriate training for KH3.

Well since there is almost no chance of KH3 coming next year I think it will go like this

KH 3D remix ( maybe for PS3 or Wii U) more then likely next year

KH3 sometime after 2015 but no later then 2018 since it should not take them longer then 2-3 more years to finsh the game since they are using a better engine now and that Nomura is fully working on it now with no other projects.

KH BB V2 ( maybe for the PS Vita or PS4) should come out after KH3 since it will only just delay the game some more since it will be a brand new game( remaster don't take as long to make as a full fledge game)

Then

some years later a sequel to KH3 ( for the PS4 and XB1 and maybe the Wii U and/or PC)

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH......................................  xP

Well, several things.

First, Nomura said that he doesn't want to make a 3D "Final Mix", but some sort of HD treatment for 3D might be considered for the future. Second, the fate of X (chi) is rather vague at the moment, as while there are currently no plans to localize the game, Nomura does feel the need to make it "available" to other fans in some shape or form, so however that will work has yet to be seen. I seriously doubt it will be a full on 3d game though, that would take too much time and resources. Third, the fate of BbS Vol. 2 is a little less vague than X's, in that there are no current plans to do something with it, but Nomura has stated interest in telling the story "SOME DAY", but it doesn't sound like it fits into the current work schedule that the team has going right now.

So I don't think your theory is that likely, however, all of these things have a chance of happening in some shape or form. It looks like it's more likely that 3D is going to get an HD treatment in some form, X might make it to us at some point before III be it in game form or story form, and BbS Vol. 2's story will be told to us...someday, just not today or tomorrow. I think everything will happen in time, but I'm pretty certain that there is NOT going to be some kind of 3D/X/BbS2 HD remix or something in the coming future. :P

I could see BBS Volume 2 after KHIII as well, and I could foresee it being done sort of campfire style. In other words, everyone would be telling stories, and taking turns at first. Aqua is quiet for the most part, until it comes to her turn. Immediately though, everyone questions about the Realm of Darkness. She'd probably laugh if they sounded desperate about it, but do so anyway, as anything else she could mention they'd all know about already anyways, or wasn't significant enough to tell. From there it begins...
