it's been a year since we've heard or seen any new footage or important (AKA HYPE worthy) news from kh3 i mean like square is treating kh3 as if it were an overprotective japanese fathers teenage daughter. i noticed that the creativity of this section of the forum has faded and im wondering if im the only one thinking ''whats taking so firetrucking long?'' i mean i know they just swiched to the''unreal engine 4''---->(HYPE worthy?) and this is the year of II.5 but Damn Square''why you do dis?''no footage whatsoever what do you guys think?

Not so long ago, we had a little discusion in this forum about where was KH3 realistically gonna release....everyone was saying ''Yeah, by the end of 2015 we Suuurely will have it already''

 

I said that first they had to finish and release FFXV, which will not release until end of 2015 if we are lucky, and Then fully start with KH3, which will take another 1 to 2 years.

 

When I said 2017 september as a minimum, everyone jumped to slit my throat...

The hype for me hasn't really faded, it's still there. I know that if I've waited 9 years, I can wait a lot longer. I just hope that they deliver with the time they've had, and not disappoint their fans with an unfinished game that's been released too early.

They've already are in full developement with KH3. Nomura "left" FFXV so he can focus on KH3.

Yeah, we are lucky Square decided to do that. Now that FFXV only needs the final steps, to put together the whole game, they allowed nomura to go and start kh3 already. So with luck by 2017 we will get it.

Its normal. Just let a new trailer appear and the hype will be revived.

I mean, It won't be out for awhile, so yeah, hype is kinda low. It's hard to be hyped about something you have hardly any information on. Once worlds start getting revealed, and more gameplay is shown, the hype train will start rolling again.

I actually don't want KH3D HD, bacause the KH3D HD's development will halt KH3's development.

If you've ever waited for SE to make a Gabe your know how that handle their business. for a title like this we're just going to have to wait for what comes. And I'm hyped just hearing anything KH related.They're trying to make it the best they can. Whatever decisions they decide to make (not like we have any influence) its for a stumnung game and not an early release date or to hold us over with footage out trailers.

As much I don't use the term "Hype", I'm straight with things not shown about Kingdom Hearts 3.

Yeah we have heard about them switching to Unreal Engine 4. I'm not upset about any new trailer shown, because the game is still being made.  

I'm a patient woman and it's not like I have a PS3 or PS4. I can wait longer.

And till then, I hope to get a PS4 before Kingdom Hearts 3 comes out. That game may be the only game I want for the PS4, if there is isn't any other games out there that interests me.  

I haven't minded the lack of news. FFXV is Squares next biggest game and they should definitely focus on marketing that thing up (as its hype was almost dead). Not to mention, it is a great time to be a JRPG fan, so many good games out and coming that KH3 isn't necessary right now.

Be actually gotten hyped again sense Normura announced that he was going to cocentrate on KH3 now and the fact that Sora's and Riku's clothes have been finalized (I just hope it's not another FFXV, because Noctis original outfit was awesome. His current one is plain)
