Ignoring the underskirt view, the quality has kinda dropped. Just look at Link for starters. He has a ugly yellow support instead of what as shown. 

 

I know I collect a few figure here and there, so I may be nitpicking but why the sudden drop in quality? Just for mass production? I don't mind them running out, as long as the outcome is great.

 

Sad to say I might not pick up any at launch, and just wait till I main someone to grab one for competitive purposes. (Yes, half the reason I wanted to buy them was for quality+collection purposes).

Some wanted it only for displaying and/or collection purposes. I wanted to display these along with my other figures, but not anymore thanks to this.

Idk, in the Peach one the photo on the right has worse lighting and quality anyway that it's kind of unfair to make a comparison (plus, ya know, the whole Peach upskirt thing.... like, really dude?).There's obviously going to be a drop in quality considering it's the whole debate between "what we want" versus "what can we make money on" (obviously the E3 ones we saw were what they wanted to make if we lived in a perfect world where there was unlimited resources, but you have to realistically look at how much of a profit they can make off of these), but since there's about a month left before they're actually going to be sold maybe the final commercial model won't be so terrible. That's all you can really hope for.

Well yeah, if you like displaying figures that's different but if you only wanted to play the game or something it would quite annoying.

I don't think i'll be getting any regardless, because i'm the kind of person who will end up getting all of them or none, and my poor wallet doesn't deserve that

I honestly don't care. I'll still get Amiibos for all of my favorite characters. Still anxiously waiting for the Shulk Amiibo...
