December 21, 201410 yr I don't see how being able to beat somebody through impossible feats is idiotic. Cheap, cunning, and a jerk move, sure, but idiotic? Nuh-uh.
December 21, 201410 yr I used the Fire/Thunder Surge strategy to beat him originally. He's tough, but he's actually not TOO tough, at least in my opinion.

December 22, 201410 yr The Mysterious Figure is a worthy opponent indeed, but with enough patience and timing, you'll be able to defeat him! He was a tough challenge, and I admit he had me on the edge of my seat more than a few times, but God, it was worth defeating him! That sense of accomplishment is priceless! Keep going, and I'm sure you'll beat him! Thunder/Fire Surge helps a hell lot by the way.
December 22, 201410 yr im almost ready to just quit forever There is only 1 strat you can do. Dodge Roll and spam thunder surge or Fire Surge or whatever they are called. It is pretty much 99% luck.
December 22, 201410 yr MF is probably the worst designed boss battle in the series. Can't blame you. More like best designed. Overly annoying secret boss battles i hate but secretly love very much because they are annoying. Its ingenious.

I know that but it allows no freedom at all. Just 1 strat unless you spam shotlock (think that is what it is called). It literally shows you what is wrong with BBS. Exposes it's own game. Dodge, Dodge, dodge spam a command. Repeat. I cannot imagine what they were thinking.

To be honest that was a flaw with the entirety of BBS, so many dodge + attack strategies near the end of the game. It was still a fun game regardless though.
